As a supply chain and logistics major, you will learn about logistical functions, understand the intricacies of supply chain operations, and identify and analyze supply chain strategies for realistic situations. Besides, you will learn to use quantitative techniques to analyze, structure, and solve complex real-world supply chain problems. Through applied coursework, team-based projects, case studies, and real-world experience, you will gain the skills to make smart decisions critical to supply chain value creation.

Our Supply Chain and Logistics program will provide students with a growth mindset as well as the foundations, tools, and experience necessary to pursue a career in logistics, inventory management, purchasing, warehousing, transportation, and general supply chain management.

Rowan's Physics major balances general physics courses that develop analytical skills needed for any career direction with more advanced courses in highly technical areas. The department also offers coursework in astronomy and astrophysics. Personal attention is a hallmark of the program: enrollment in laboratory-based physics classes is limited to 24 students per section, and all lectures and labs are taught by faculty, not teaching assistants. In our junior-level Research Methods courses, students will have access to state-of-the-art equipment as they plan and execute a project under the direction of our research faculty. Physics majors can enter fields such as education, going on to teach at the secondary level, or pursue an advanced degree to become a college profesor and/or conduct research; others may enter fields such as busiess, computers, engineering, finance, law, and medicine.

The Biophysics major prepares students for medical school, graduate school in biophysics and for careers in medical industry. Immerse yourself in an interdisciplinary major that will prepare you to employ the power of physics, chemistry and math to study biological processes, understand how to prevent diseases, design cures or develop novel technologies.

Biophysics harnesses several branches of science to explore the biological systems and the physical properties of their molecules. A degree in biophysics will prepare you to work in research institutes, medical centers, with the government or at universities.

The Liberal Studies: Humanities/Social Science major offers you the opportunity to pursue multiple areas of study in the humanities and social sciences. The major gives you the ability to combine two academic areas into one flexible and comprehensive Bachelor of Arts degree, creating a truly multidisciplinary education.

The Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology degree, through the four-field approach of cultural, physical, linguistic, and archaeology, is designed to prepare students to succeed in the 21st century and find employment in research, teaching, development, advocacy, health care among diverse populations, consumer research, community-based organizations, non-profits, and public service. Anthropology Majors will have the option of concentrating their studies in one of four subfield tracks. These are forensic anthropology, museum studies, medical anthropology, and cultural resource management and archaeology. The BA Anthropology degree will also support those students who wish to pursue further study in graduate or professional schools. By acquiring an anthropological perspective on diversity, culture, and ethnography as well as developing strong social and natural scientific research skills, students will expand their career opportunities.

The Rowan University Chemical Engineering Program is a student-centered, primarily undergraduate program that incorporates leading-edge educational methods and technology with engineering practice. The Master's of Arts in Holocaust and Genocide Education (MA HGE) is the first and only of its kind globally. With equal focus on Holocaust and genocide content, and innovative and effective pedagogies, the MA HGE breaks new ground. This graduate program fills a much-needed gap in higher education. Currently, fifteen states in the U.S. have Holocaust and genocide education mandates, and federal funding has been earmarked to improve Holocaust education nation-wide. The MA HGE bridges a divide between more traditional programs in Holocaust and Genocide Studies and graduate programs in Education in order to help graduate students consider what Holocaust and genocide education can look like across diverse settings. This program is designed for those interested in Holocaust and education broadly, from classroom teachers and curriculum developers, to museum educators, and those interested in working for nonprofits and NGOs. In the MA HGE, graduate students will gain deep content knowledge and the ability to implement effective teaching strategies through customized coursework and an applied capstone project.
