The B.S. The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Geology are physical science majors composed of foundation courses in science and mathematics; core courses in geology; and upper-level geoscience electives. The BA programs are designed to prepare students to enter the geoscience workforce in consulting firms or government agencies; pursue professional studies; or undertake advanced graduate studies in geoscience disciplines. Students who pursue a BA in Geology have greater flexibility to take electives in environmental science, geography, social sciences, and other disciplines.

Specific career opportunities include startups, venture capital, real estate, corporate innovation, new product development, and sales.

Our M.A. in Higher Education Administrative track is designed to serve professionals without any experience in higher education administration, but who aspire to careers in that field; as well as those who are already practicing administrators in a college or university who wish to upgrade their skills.

Graduates of our Administrative track often pursue higher education careers in student affairs, including residential life, admissions, academic advising, student activity programming, and service-learning/volunteerism.

The undergraduate Law and Justice Studies program provides an interdisciplinary approach to the study of crime, the function of criminal law and the criminal justice system. The program focuses on preparing students for professional careers in the major areas of law enforcement and security services, court services, corrections and human services by combining academically challenging coursework with practical work experience through internships. The program provides the rigorous preparation necessary for students who wish to continue their education at the graduate level.

The MBA Concentration in Management of Information Systems (MIS) will enhance a student's preparedness to assume jobs in a world of rapidly changing technology by preparing them to develop business solutions through the use of information and technology resources. Students will gain experience in dealing with technological issues, understanding the role of humans in developing technology-based solutions and learn to manage technology-related projects.

The Bachelor of Arts in Computing and Informatics is a new degree designed for students who are interested in pursuing careers in information technology which requires a solid understanding of the principles of computing - but not the underpinnings of computer science theory and mathematics.

Concentrate on computer programming, infrastructure platforms, web application development, database implementations, or information security. Customize the program to suit your specific interests and abilities. We currently offer specializations in mobile devices and DevOp.

The Master of Arts (M.A.) in Criminal Justice prepares students for leadership positions in criminal justice agencies; for research positions in federal, state, county, city non-profit and private research institutions; and for further study in doctoral programs. This program aims to help students develop their skills to use research to evaluate the effectiveness of programs aimed at preventing and controlling crime. Upon degree completion, graduates will have an understanding of the causes of crime, of the impact of law on society and of contemporary issues in policing, courts and corrections.
