Our M.S. in Data Science prepares graduates with a degree in a STEM-related field for a career in data science. The program provides a strong background in data mining, modeling, and statistical and machine learning. In our curriculm, we build on industry needs, as well as guidelines of the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM) and the Technology Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).

As a student, you may declare a concentration or choose from a variety of electives to increase your knowledge of computer science, statistics or visual Science.

Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management is a relevant and timely major especially with the current and impending threat of universal terrorism, the impact of climate change and natural disasters, and the enhanced need to address issues related to public safety and national security. Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management is an innovative and interdisciplinary degree program that focuses on training students in areas that impact human welfare locally, nationally, and globally. The program has a distinctive emphasis on urban issues and environments and the role that ethics plays in how policies, politics, and practices shape the quality of life for human beings in our state, nation, and world.

The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Geology are physical science majors composed of foundation courses in science and mathematics; core courses in geology; and upper-level geoscience electives. The BA programs are designed to prepare students to enter the geoscience workforce in consulting firms or government agencies; pursue professional studies; or undertake advanced graduate studies in geoscience disciplines. Students who pursue a BA in Geology have greater flexibility to take electives in environmental science, geography, social sciences, and other disciplines.

The Rowan University Chemical Engineering Program is a student-centered, primarily undergraduate program that incorporates leading-edge educational methods and technology with engineering practice. We prepare students for careers in the global chemical process industry and related fields, and for advanced degree study. The primary goal of this program is to provide students with a full understanding of the functions of business organizations and prepare them to be strong contributors to the marketing function of their organizations.

Developing a successful marketing strategy encompasses many tasks including marketing research, product or service design, branding, effective communication & promotional programs, pricing, and distributing products to customers.
