The Rowan University Chemical Engineering Program is a student-centered, primarily undergraduate program that incorporates leading-edge educational methods and technology with engineering practice. We prepare students for careers in the global chemical process industry and related fields, and for advanced degree study. Our program provides students with a strong foundation in chemical engineering science and design, and emphasizes the development of effective communication and teaming skills, and professional responsibility in preparation for a career in a diverse global workforce. Throughout the curriculum, students are exposed to chemical engineering methods using hands-on, state-of-the-art experiments, modern computer tools, and problem synthesis and solution approaches. The Chemical Engineering Program is committed to technical excellence, professional responsibility, and lifelong learning.

The Africana Studies program at Rowan is devoted to the study of the historical and contemporary challenges, experiences, and contributions of Africans, African Americans, and people of African descent throughout the world. One of the program's greatest strengths is its unique interdisciplinary approach to global black studies that offers students an array of courses from 12 academic departments on campus. Students can major or double major in Africana Studies, or pursue a minor.

The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychological Science is a degree designed for students who are interested in pursuing research-oriented careers that may or may not require graduate level training such as experimental psychology .

Our curriculum is designed to provide our students with breadth and depth of knowledge in psychology as well as professional skills in research both inside and outside of the classroom. Along with other foundation courses, the degree requires a year-long research course sequence (i.e. Advance Research I and II) that provides students with the opportunity to conduct a human subjects research project from beginning to the end. The BS in Psychological Science major consists of 60 credits in psychology, 4 credits in Calculus, and 4 credits in Biological Science.

The Management degree prepares students for meaningful positions in management by providing them with a foundation for career growth. The management program is designed to provide a strong foundation in both traditional and innovative management skills in the areas of leading and supervising others, communicating clearly, and being able to analyze and solve organizational problems using both quantitative and qualitative information. It includes traditional classroom instruction, simulations, "real world" internships, lectures by management practitioners and working with academic advisors to develop and implement a course of study which meets each student's individual needs.

Students enrolled in the management program are expected:

Molecular and Cellular Biology focuses on the study of the processes that govern living organisms. Comprehensive curricula cover theory and laboratory methods, allowing students to carry out and understand molecular and biomedical research. The program provides students a solid foundation in the life sciences preparing them for careers in the highly competitive health professions programs such as medical school, dental school, and pharmacy school, nursing, biotechnology and pharmacuetical industry positions.
