The B.S. Computer Science program focuses on developing flexible professionals who are equipped to learn new technologies and principles that are essential for success in such a rapidly evolving field. The Master of Science in Bioinformatics (M.S.) prepares our graduates with the skills to immediately contribute in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and biomedical fields. Bioinformatics is a multidisciplinary field of study that focuses on the use of computational information tools in the investigation and analysis of biological, biomedical, and biochemical systems. The industry uses information generated in the lab or clinic for future applications, research, and development.

Our program provides hands-on experience, giving you the opportunity to work on novel research. This includes advanced training in theory and laboratory settings, which allows you to diversify into other biomedical research fields. This program includes the following three focus areas: Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, and Computer Science.

The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Geology are physical science majors composed of foundation courses in science and mathematics; core courses in geology; and upper-level geoscience electives.BS programs are designed to prepare students to enter the geoscience workforce in consulting firms or government agencies; pursue professional studies; or undertake advanced graduate studies in geoscience disciplines. Students in the BS in Geology program will concentrate in one of four tracks designed to fit the academic and career aspirations of individual students: general geosciences, applied geology, global climate change and paleontology.

Public relations practitioners create strategy and content to manage an organization’s reputation and tell its story to audiences. Classes simulate real-world challenges as you work with real clients and participate in problem-solving competitions.

Our M.S. in Computer Science provides a higher level of understanding in computational science and its application to a variety of fields, including education, industry, research, business and government. The Bachelor of Arts in Leadership & Social Innovation prepares students to work in existing and emerging industries in start-ups, foundations, not-for-profits, grass-roots organizations, and community organizations as well as in established markets such as business, government, and policy organizations.  Students will be prepared to understand leadership and organizations, diversity, the design and evaluation of organizational initiatives, and grant acquisition and management.  Students will also acquire the skills to lead within organizations, to work with diverse groups, to plan and evaluate organizational initiatives and to find, evaluate, secure and manage grants.

The strength of the Accounting Degree Requirements is in the emphasis on practical and theoretical content to help students prepare for ethical participation in various accounting careers, including careers in professional accounting and financial management. The program also prepares students for graduate studies in accounting, taxation and business.
