The mission of the Marketing Program is to prepare students for marketing careers in a rapidly changing business, social, and political environment. The primary goal of this program is to provide students with a full understanding of the functions of business organizations and prepare them to be strong contributors to the marketing function of their organizations.

Data Analytics Concentration

An MBA Concentration in Data Analytics is an ideal option for those that want a career that draws on their abilities to develop problem-solving strengths and decision-making skill sets through the use of data analysis, statistical models, and other quantitative methods. Data analytics takes a deeper dive into datasets than business analytics. Data analysts have the opportunity to gather, prepare, clean, and present data to business leaders in a clear and concise manner that allows executives to make tough business decisions. This is a fast growing industry with a great demand for highly skilled workers.

Data analytics skills are in demand internationally by all industries. Long term career goals might include positions such as business intelligence analyst, data analyst, data scientist, data engineer, big data engineer, or data analytics consultant.

The undergraduate Law and Justice Studies program provides an interdisciplinary approach to the study of crime, the function of criminal law and the criminal justice system. The program focuses on preparing students for professional careers in the major areas of law enforcement and security services, court services, corrections and human services by combining academically challenging coursework with practical work experience through internships. The program provides the rigorous preparation necessary for students who wish to continue their education at the graduate level.

Our Master of Arts in History is tailored toward increasing competence in historical studies for preparatory or supplementary teaching, on both the high school or community college level. It is also appropriate if you are seeking qualification for admission to a doctoral program at another institution or if you are pursuing an advanced-level liberal education for intellectual challenge and personal fulfillment. We offer a thesis and non-thesis track.

Our M.A. program is set in the tradition of a Liberal Arts education. Courses offer an opportunity to extend your knowledge and enhance your comprehension of historical studies with Rowan's acclaimed, full-time faculty members.

Our M.A. in Higher Education Administrative track is designed to serve professionals without any experience in higher education administration, but who aspire to careers in that field; as well as those who are already practicing administrators in a college or university who wish to upgrade their skills.

Graduates of our Administrative track often pursue higher education careers in student affairs, including residential life, admissions, academic advising, student activity programming, and service-learning/volunteerism.

The Bachelor of Arts degree is designed for careers in environmental consulting, management, science writing, or science education. While also rigorous, the BA is a more flexible pathway with enough free electives to permit a second major in areas such as Education, Communications, Environmental & Sustainability Studies, or Geology.

BA students integrate the foundations of biology, chemistry, physics and other core STEM disciplines with their understanding of environmental issues. Environmental scientists are on the front line of documenting environment change and developing solutions to modern problems that impact everyone on Earth.

Communication is how we form relationships, develop creative ideas, share experiences, and make connections with others. Explore this central and complex part of the human condition across two main specializations: Interpersonal/Organizational Communication or Rhetoric and Cultural Criticism.

The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Geology are physical science majors composed of foundation courses in science and mathematics; core courses in geology; and upper-level geoscience electives.BS programs are designed to prepare students to enter the geoscience workforce in consulting firms or government agencies; pursue professional studies; or undertake advanced graduate studies in geoscience disciplines. Students in the BS in Geology program will concentrate in one of four tracks designed to fit the academic and career aspirations of individual students: general geosciences, applied geology, global climate change and paleontology.
