The Master of Applied Mathematics program at Auburn University offers flexibility, expert faculty, and mentorship opportunities. The degree prepares students for professional careers and graduate study with a balance of computer science theory and practical application of software engineering methodology using modern software engineering environments and tools.  The core of topics in the curriculum includes software modeling and design, construction, process and quality assurance, intelligent and interactive systems, networks, operating systems and computer architecture.

The Department offers the Organismal Biology major leading to the Bachelor of Science degree.  The curricula for this major is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in biology as well as providing the opportunity for specialization. This program also provides a strong preparation for further study in graduate programs or in professional schools, including medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine and other allied health fields.

Supply chain management is the oversight of the flow of goods and services—a simple definition for a complex system. Supply chain management involves planning and the execution of processes that enable the flow of goods and services, inventory management, logistics, storage, transportation and risk management—all of which enable business success.

Our Environmental Science major program is an interdisciplinary degree, incorporating studies such as soil science, physics, chemistry, biology and geology. Environmental solutions also frequently require mathematical expertise as well as specific knowledge of air, water and soil environments. Thus, the program is structured to educate environmental scientists broadly, but with considerable depth and flexibility.

Auburn’s Wildlife Enterprise Management (WLEM) degree is one of only two such programs in the United States.  This cross-disciplinary degree program, founded on the basic principles of wildlife management, hospitality services, and business management, ensures that graduates are prepared for employment at any of thousands of hunting and fishing lodges, ranches, corporate retreat facilities, and other consumptive use facilities worldwide.

The degree is collaboratively taught by world-renowned faculty from the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences and the Colleges of Business and Human Sciences.  With this program, students gain the necessary skill set required of graduates and access to a wide range of internship opportunities across the globe.
