Biomedical science combines the fields of biology and medicine in order to focus on the health of both animals and humans. As a biomedical science major, you'll study biochemical and physiological functions, anatomical and histological structures, epidemiology, and pharmacology.

Auburn’s Bachelor of Science in Building Construction (BSCI) Program is a four-year ACCE accredited program focused on construction management including specialized training in estimating, scheduling, project management, safety, surveying, sustainable construction, and structures.

The department of Consumer and Design Sciences Apparel faculty prepare graduates for a variety of fashion-related careers in the global supply chain. Creativity, innovation, critical thinking, technical competency, and communication effectiveness are valued skill sets. With the integrated core of apparel-related courses, coupled with the focus on the merchandising or design and production management, students will be prepared to work effectively as a team member in a variety of fashion-related settings.

The Apparel Merchandising Option provides students with a unique perspective on this competitive, consumer-driven marketplace. A foundation in textile and apparel product knowledge and business fundamentals is combined with a focus on forecasting and interpreting consumer demand.

The internationalization of producing and marketing fashion-oriented products is emphasized. A strong business orientation is featured. Professional electives provide opportunities to individualize the student’s program to meet career goals. The senior level internship in either a domestic or international firm is focused on the student’s career interests. It may include marketing, store management, buying, sourcing, sales, merchandising, media and special events, fashion journalism, or consumer relations experiences.

Social workers aim to enhance the well-being of individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities with a particular focus on advocating with and on behalf of individuals who are vulnerable and oppressed.

The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in social work is a dynamic degree program that equips you with the professional knowledge, values, and skills to engage in generalist social work practice across social work settings. The department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Auburn University offers Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degrees in medical laboratory science, chemistry, and biochemistry. The department has 24 full-time faculty members and is conducting cutting-edge research in the areas of biological chemistry, synthesis methodology, molecular recognition and detection, new material synthesis and characterization, computational chemistry, renewable energy, as well as in the traditional areas of analytical, biological, inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry. Undergraduate laboratory classes are conducted in the Sciences Center Laboratories Building.
