Emphasis in Fruit and Vegetable Production
As a student in our horticulture fruit and vegetable production major option, you will find many opportunities to support fruit and vegetable production, including cooperative extension, research with private companies and government agencies such as the USDA-ARS, and marketing.

Our Bachelor of Arts in English-professional and public writing prepares you to communicate in the world of work. You’ll learn editing and document design practices, linguistic and rhetorical analyses, and writing for specialized audiences. You’ll work with real clients both inside and outside of the university and develop a professional portfolio.

The study of a foreign language opens your mind to cultures, societies, and histories around the world. Our Bachelor of Arts in Spanish broadens your understanding of society through cultural exchange in Spanish and provides you with communication skills, linguistic dexterity, critical thinking, and cultural awareness. These cultural insights and practical tools will help you find your place in today’s competitive, multilingual marketplace.

Our Bachelor of Fine Arts in theatre design and technology offers a practical foundation in all areas of theater production, including lighting, sound, costume design, technical direction, and construction. You’ll have opportunities to apply new technical and conceptual knowledge in hands-on production work. You’ll work with national and international guest artists as well as travel nationally and internationally to attend workshops and exhibitions.

Our Bachelor of Fine Arts in theatre management leads to a professional career as a stage or production manager for theaters, concert venues, or theme parks. You’ll take courses in stage management, production management, and events management, as well as related courses in civic engagement, public relations, and business. There are numerous opportunities on and off-campus for hands-on experience as a house manager, production assistant, events manager, assistant stage manager, or production stage manager.

Our major in animal sciences (ANSC) will prepare you for a career in veterinary medicine, medicine, equine science, food safety, animal and allied industries and related areas. The program is also excellent preparation for graduate studies in fields such as animal nutrition, biochemistry and molecular biology, microbiology, growth biology, meat science and muscle biology, breeding and genetics, and reproductive biology.

Theatre is a rich and diverse field comprised of many valuable skills. Our Bachelor of Arts in theatre allows you to explore theatre as an art form, a profession, and a way of understanding our world. Community Planning is a profession that offers a wide range of opportunities for people with many different talents and aspirations. Planning is concerned with the use of land, protection of the environment, public welfare, the design of public spaces and infrastructure, and the economy. The Community Planning program at Auburn University is a professionally oriented, master's degree program.
