Philosophy deepens our engagement with fundamental questions that arise in everyday life with regard to ourselves, others and the world around us. The Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition/Dietetics consists of a 2-year pre-professional component and the 2-year Professional Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD). Graduates who successfully complete the Didactic Program in Dietetics are qualified to apply for a post-baccalaureate supervised-practice program (e.g., a dietetic internship), which is a requirement for eligibility to take the National Registration Examination for Dietitians and earn the RD/RDN credential.

The Master of Public Administration degree program at Auburn University is a NASPAA-accredited program with diverse course offerings, dedicated faculty actively engaged in research, and an internship requirement that builds successful leaders for careers in public service.

Our performance degree is designed for you to elevate your musical skills to the highest level. You’ll receive group and individualized training and gain proficiency in critical thinking, skill development, time management, self-discipline, and focused practice. There are five concentrations within the music performance major: instrumental, piano, voice, composition and technology and commercial music.

This non-thesis degree program provides a mix of theoretical and applied background for students interested in a career in statistics. The curriculum delivers the necessary technical, analytical, and interpretive skills required of professional statisticians. It also concentrates on education in the fundamentals of statistics and its interdisciplinary nature. Combined with the small class  sizes of 5 to 15 students, you get lots of personal attention from your professors.

With a growing emphasis on preventative health care and interest in health, wellness and improved quality of life among consumers and employers, Auburn University's degree option in Nutrition and Wellness is designed to prepare students for successful career entry into the broad health and wellness professions. Marine biological research is conducted by five faculty members who share an interest in how marine organisms evolve, function, and interact with the environment in the world’s oceans. Marine biological studies at Auburn span all levels of organization from molecular genetics to community structure and ecosystem functioning. Projects involve campus-based laboratory research as well as field studies in Atlantic, Caribbean, tropical Indo-Pacific, and Antarctic seas.

Theatre is a rich and diverse field comprised of many valuable skills. Biochemistry is the branch of science that explores the chemical processes within and related to living organisms. It is a laboratory-based science that brings together biology and chemistry. By using chemical knowledge and techniques, biochemists can understand and solve biological problems.

Biochemistry focuses on processes happening at a molecular level. It focuses on what’s happening inside our cells, studying components like proteins, lipids and organelles. It also looks at how cells communicate with each other, for example during growth or fighting illness. Biochemists need to understand how the structure of a molecule relates to its function, allowing them to predict how molecules will interact.
