Overview
The Department of Art and Art History offers a Bachelor of Arts in Art History that is designed to introduce methodologies and subjects of Art History from throughout the world. In addition to traditional European and American subjects from ancient to modern times, we offer a strong emphasis on Latin American art from Pre-Columbian to the present. The BA in Art History provides professional education as preparation for careers as art professionals and for further graduate study.

Optional Practical Training or OPT is a period during which students, who have completed their degrees in the USA, are permitted to work for one year on a student visa by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). OPT allows students to work for up to 3 years and develop real-world skills to survive in the competitive jobs market.
It is temporary employment for a period of 12-months that is directly related to the major area of study of an F-1 student. Eligible students have the option to apply for OPT employment authorization before completing their academic studies and/or after completing their academic studies.
A student can participate in three types of Optional Practical Training (OPT):

Undergraduate Extended Accelerator Pathway (3-Term) - Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance
The Bachelor of Business Administration degree prepares graduates to think critically, solve problems and lead with confidence. This broad-based program teaches important business fundamentals across environments and industries both in the U.S. and globally. You'll learn how goods and services are produced, financed and marketed; the impact of external forces on business success; basics of accounting and quantitative methods, plus an introduction to organizational theory and communication and leadership decision-making.
Finance
Students will learn how money is raised and invested, how to manage a company's financial resources, and gain an understanding of capital markets, corporate finance, investments and financial institutions. You’ll acquire the background to handle an array of financial challenges including the impact of interest rates, be able to perform risk analyses, know how to determine the value and return of investments, and grasp the regulatory environment. Students who graduate with the finance major are prepared to enter positions in corporations, financial institutions, brokerage firms, investment banks, and government. There are two tracks available in the upper division program for B.S. in Computer Science. The Computer Science (CS) track should be followed by the student who intends to continue on to graduate study in computer science. The Software Design and Development (SDD) track may be followed by the student who intends to pursue a software engineering career. This section explains the requirements for the Computer Science track.
