There are two tracks available in the upper division program for B.S. in Computer Science. The Computer Science (CS) track should be followed by the student who intends to continue on to graduate study in computer science. The Software Design and Development (SDD) track may be followed by the student who intends to pursue a software engineering career. This section explains the requirements for the Computer Science track.

Our Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology gives students a strong foundation in structural and evolutionary developmental biology, physiology, organismal diversity, physical oceanography and ecology.

Our Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience offers a rigorous undergraduate education with an emphasis in clinical, systems and behavioral neuroscience, development, neuroplasticity, mental health disorders, research methodology, statistics and data analysis, plus foundational STEM courses needed to compete in the fastest-growing medical and scientific careers.

Our Bachelor of Arts in Women's and Gender Studies is an interdisciplinary study of women and gender in cross-cultural and historical perspectives. You'll explore how women's lives have been shaped by history, culture, nationality, class and other elements of diversity.

Our Bachelor of Science Degree in Geosciences prepares students for careers and graduate study in geological, hydrological and atmospheric science fields, and is founded on a background in physical sciences.

The BA program is more suitable for those who want to pursue a career in areas such as public administration, international relations, political science, business, sociology, and law, hence should be the program of choice for students who plan to begin working after graduation or applying to graduate programs in these areas.

The B.A in Computer Science (CS) is intended for students targeting a career in the computing field.
