Optional Practical Training or OPT is a period during which students, who have completed their degrees in the USA, are permitted to work for one year on a student visa by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). OPT allows students to work for up to 3 years and develop real-world skills to survive in the competitive jobs market.
It is temporary employment for a period of 12-months that is directly related to the major area of study of an F-1 student. Eligible students have the option to apply for OPT employment authorization before completing their academic studies and/or after completing their academic studies.
A student can participate in three types of Optional Practical Training (OPT):

You'll learn how goods and services are produced, financed and marketed; the impact of external forces on business success; basics of accounting and quantitative methods, plus an introduction to organizational theory and communication and leadership decision-making.

Undergraduate business students opting to pursue a BBA in Business Analytics (BA) will gain a solid foundation in the application of statistical methods, techniques, and tools to large datasets. The program provides students with the background needed to applying statistical methods and techniques through use of decision support systems (DSS), expert systems (ES), business intelligence (BI) reporting tools, and business analytics (BA) data mining tools. Graduates will be prepared for entry-level business analytics and reporting positions.

Whether you want to go into practice or take on advanced study in computer engineering by pursuing a master’s degree, you’ll get there with our bachelor’s degree.
Electrical engineers design, develop, test and supervise the manufacturing of electrical equipment. This ranges from small pocket devices like GPS devices to power generation equipment. Students will learn the application of electricity, electronics and electromagnetism.
