In this program, you can expect to gain a wide-ranging view of world issues while focusing on a particular geographic region or areas such as global diplomacy. In international studies, you will also have opportunities to participate in study abroad programs and develop in-depth knowledge of the languages and cultures of your chosen area.

• Europe: The concentration in Europe focuses on the history, politics, art, and literature of the countries of modern Europe.

This major emphasizes a hands-on approach to understanding human behavior and offers exceptional preparation for graduate study in psychology or medical school. You can develop the skills you need in areas such as biological, clinical, cognitive, and school psychology. The department also has an extremely active honors program through which you can work with faculty mentors on meaningful research.

Computer Engineers create, improve, and/or fix computer hardware and software by combining knowledge from the fields of electrical engineering and computer science. Computer engineers might be involved in any aspect of computer design, including circuit design, supercomputing, microprocessor design, personal computing, chip design, embedded systems, sensor design, robotics, and more.

Spanish is one of the three most widely spoken languages in the world and the second most widely used language in the United States. Mastering the Spanish language and culture can give you a critical edge in virtually any U.S. business or private firm, as well as in law and government service.

Learn about the properties and composition of matter and the interactions and alterations of substances. Chemistry is at the core of most scientific disciplines, including the study of polymers, biotechnology, pollution control, and energy. There are nine available concentrations, which will allow you to narrow your focus to the career track that works best for you or help you prepare for graduate study.

Interior designers create functional and visually appealing indoor environments. They shape, organize, furnish, and adorn the insides of buildings to reflect our personal and cultural aspirations. Today’s interior designers do not simply decorate. They work on wide range of interiors, from residential to corporate projects, designing spaces within new buildings and finding ways to adapt and re-use existing structures. If this sounds like your idea of heaven, then interior design may be for you.

The Bachelor of Arts is a broad-based liberal arts degree with an emphasis in the study of music. You can use this degree to explore music alongside other areas of study including business, engineering, arts administration, digital media, and jazz.

Women's, Gender, & Sexuality Studies
Women’s and gender studies examines the roles that gender plays in everyday life. Courses examine topics such as women in culture and history; gender and race, class, and sexuality; gender in literature, politics, the law, and the sciences.

With a field that’s as broad as life itself, the biological sciences major gives you ample exposure to help you figure out where you belong within this area of study. Upon graduation you will be well prepared for placement in graduate school; medical, dental, optometry, pharmacy, or veterinary school; and in careers that range from public health to environmental science.

Study ways to improve crops and discover new crossbreeds of plants, and learn the latest approaches to the cultivation, marketing, and processing of ornamental plants, fruits, and vegetables. Topics include soil science and conservation, ornamentals and grasses, urban landscape management, sustainable horticulture, and much more.

Horticulture Science: Horticulture is the science and art of cultivation, propagation, marketing, and processing of ornamental plants, flowers, vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Horticulture is unique among plant sciences because it also incorporates art and the principles of design. With opportunities such as internships, hands-on learning, and faculty-led research, you will gain valuable experiences both inside and outside of the classroom.
