Here you will learn about energy and matter, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, the birth of the universe, and Einstein’s special theory of relativity. Our program will prepare you for graduate school in physics, leading to careers as a college professor, as a scientist at a government agency (like NASA), or in high-tech industry.

Medical Physics
This is for students interested in careers in medical physics and health physics or those intending to pursue a physics degree as a pre-med student. In this concentration you will take courses in chemistry, biology, and kinesiology, as well as core physics and specialized medical physics courses.

Through the study and performance of communication, you will learn how we form, maintain, and transform language, communication tools, and meaning.

Learn how raw products move from farm to table, including all of the functions of agricultural business. This major will allow you to focus on management, marketing, finance, and economics, while addressing questions and concerns involving the economics and sociology of agriculture, natural resources, and rural communities.

Agribusiness Finance: Develop your knowledge of agriculture finance to pursue a career in rural development or investment practices.

If you enjoy bringing life to a creative thought, you may find your niche in studio art. Choose a focus in two- or three-dimensional art, such as ceramics and sculpture, painting and drawing, photography, or printmaking. Become familiar with a number of art techniques and the major achievements in the history of art. Gain an understanding of contemporary thinking about art and design, and learn to make valid assessments of quality in design projects and works of art. Studio artists are creative problem solvers who enjoy experimentation, are self-disciplined, and visually aware.

Through the textiles, apparel, and merchandising curriculum, you can work toward your dream by taking advantage of its unique learning opportunities to gain technical and creative knowledge. Refine your critical thinking skills, gain expertise in the area of product development, and learn how to market your final product to consumers in a global marketplace. Learn about the art and science of textile production and development, including materials, processes, and technologies involved in today’s industry.

Merchandising: Learn about apparel economics, marketing, and the industry psychology of the fashion world.

The Bachelor of Arts is a broad-based liberal arts degree with an emphasis in the study of music. You can use this degree to explore music alongside other areas of study including business, engineering, arts administration, digital media, and jazz.

Mechanical engineers apply principles of engineering, mathematics, physics, and materials science for the analysis, design, manufacture, operation, and maintenance of equipment and machinery. The Bachelor of Music prepares you for a career as a professional musician or composer. It also serves as the gateway to graduate-level studies in music.

This program will provide you with the knowledge and skills to participate in the environmental community in areas such as federal and local environmental regulations, land use planning, soil and water conservation, coastal restoration, and agricultural management.

Resource Conservation: Learn about the chemical, physical, and biological properties of soils, soil and water conservation and associated federal programs, coastal restoration, soil/plant relationships, fundamentals of forestry, wildlife and agricultural management, land use planning soil and water assessment and remediation principles, and ecological risk assessment.
