LSU has the only program in Louisiana that will prepare you for a career in international business. The international trade and finance degree is an economics degree with a concentration in international business. Want to work for an international company? Polymers
This area of focus is designed for students with career objectives in the science of synthetic or biological macromolecules, including plastics.

Environmental Chemistry
Recommended for students pursuing careers as a chemical professional or for entrance to graduate study in chemistry, this area focuses on the study of the sources, reactions, transport, effects, and fates of chemical species in the air, soil, and water environments.

Find yourself among the dedicated students and faculty who work to improve the lives of others through speech, language, and hearing therapy. Study the nature and treatment of problems with speech, language, and hearing. You will learn about the linguistic, developmental, physiological, and acoustic aspects of oral communication and will be prepared for the advanced training necessary for certification in fields such as speech language pathology and audiology.

This curriculum is diverse with opportunities to study forest management of hardwood and pine forests, wetlands, wildlife, conservation biology, fisheries, aquaculture, habitat management, or prepare for a career as a wildlife-oriented veterinarian. Curricula emphasizes field instruction. Unique facilities available through this curriculum include the School of Renewable Natural Resources’ Lee Memorial Forest, an actively managed forest, which has accommodations and teaching facilities so that you can get hands-on experience in the field.

Fisheries and Aquaculture: Learn to manage, conserve, and enhance populations of aquatic organisms in the wild or through the use of aquaculture. Commercial aspects of fisheries and aquaculture will also be explored.
