Gender Studies is an interdisciplinary field that focuses on interactions of gender with race, class, sexual orientation, and nationality. Biomedical engineers combine engineering principles with medical and biological sciences, with the goal of designing and creating equipment, devices, computer systems, and software to be used in healthcare.
