Undergraduate Extended Accelerator Pathway (3-Term) - Bachelor of Arts in Physics with Concentration in Technical Writing

The Bachelor of Arts Degree is designed to offer a thorough foundation in theatre while providing flexibility and opportunity for interdisciplinary study with a required minor. The strength of this program is in the opportunity to combine theatre training with the secondary area of study to create career opportunities in theatre and the entertainment industry. Students find direct career paths and a boost in the job market through the combination of major and minor. Students are open to selecting any minor or second major offered within the University. Upon graduation, students choose to enter the job market or pursue advanced education with a skill set unique to their goals.

The Marine and Aquatic Biology Track provides students with the opportunity to focus on the study of living organisms in freshwater, coastal, and oceanic environments. This track is designed to give students a strong foundation in basic biological principles with a special focus on organisms that live in aquatic environments.  Students who successfully complete the Marine and Aquatic Biology Track will be well-versed in the issues of marine and/or aquatic ecosystems with an emphasis on conservation, restoration, and biological diversity. The track also allows opportunities for study abroad and independent research working with professors and their graduate students in both laboratory and field settings. Rigorous coursework and research experiences gained through this track will provide students with a competitive advantage in their graduate school applications.  This track can also help students seeking immediate employment with local, state and federal agencies or private companies and non-profit organizations specializing in resource management, fisheries, marine conservation, coastal restoration and aquarium husbandry.

The UCF Psychology Department is the largest in the Western Hemisphere by student enrollment. Currently at the undergraduate level we have well over 4,500 psychology majors, nearly 1,000 psychology minors, and over 180 students seeking the Behavioral Forensics Certificate. We also have well over 150 graduate students across our different doctoral and masters programs. We are Central to any conversation about Psychology Training in the State of Florida.

Physics majors can select from two curricular options: a B.A. or B.S. in Physics. The B.A. gives students the flexibility to combine physics with another focus area in an interdisciplinary program, in particular Physics Education, Biophysics, Information Technology/Data Science, or Technical Writing.

The Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences is designed for students with an interest in human health who plan to pursue health-focused careers. The Pre-Clinical track provides students with a solid educational background in basic and health-related sciences, while providing the foundation courses required for admission to graduate level clinical programs including but not limited to medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, optometry, physician assistant, and other health-related professions.

The B.S. in Early Childhood Development and Education program at UCF prepares you to impact a diverse population of young children and families using research-based, developmentally appropriate practices. Your coursework will provide you with the knowledge and skills in many areas, including child development, social and emotional development, assessment and literacy. The School of Communication Sciences and Disorders houses the Communication Disorders Clinic, located in Research Park. The clinic provides services for individuals with communication impairments in Central Florida, while also giving students hands-on experience in the field.
