Recent graduates are employed as scientists in academia, industry and government, or pursuing postgraduate education. In addition to our rigourous academic program, students can work side-by-side with faculty on research projects such as discovering novel inhibitors of bacterial efflux pumps as a way to combat multi-drug resistance in bacteria, studying biodegradation of polymer coatings, and discovering new photodynamic lung cancer treatments.

A solid music curriculum combined with an arts and sciences education provides students the ability and flexibility to pursue their interests and prepare for their career.

This program teaches and instills leadership traits and qualities, so that you may one day lead an organization. Students gain unique skills and experiences related to the military, such as map reading, land navigation, marksmanship, rappelling and much more. The UD School of Education and Health Sciences offers 11 undergraduate degree programs and 11 undergraduate certificate, licensure & endorsement programs to help prepare students for careers in education, health, wellness, sport or physical activity. UD SEHS also offers 24 graduate degree programs and 22 graduate certificate, licensure & endorsement programs. Graphic design is an intensive professional degree major that combines art and design foundation courses with the graphic design curriculum and an arts and sciences education.

Our focus is to advance the state-of-art design of civil systems and lead efforts in sustainable infrastructure development. In our program, you’ll gain firsthand experience working with international faculty. Sponsors such as the National Science Foundation, the Ohio Department of Transportation, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and more, offer hands on opportunities for UD students.

This program is designed to prepare engineers and aspiring engineers for leadership roles in engineering activities in industry, government, business and the military. We’ll help you build the analytical and managerial skills you need to plan, design, optimize and direct complex systems, programs and processes.

The graduate program in computer science offers a comprehensive approach to the theory and application of computer science. Graduates of the program will have:

• A thorough grounding in the theory of computing science and the ability to apply that knowledge to a variety of problem areas,
• Been exposed to a variety of analytical methods and will demonstrate a basic understanding of those methods, and
• Been exposed to a wide breadth of computer science information by having studied several of the dominant sub-disciplines of computer science.

The program is individualized to meet each student's needs and provides a firm foundation for continuing on to the doctorate or a professional career. The program accommodates both full-time and part-time students.
