Environmental biology is a dynamic and growing major which prepares students with the scientific background needed to understand and address the many pressing environmental concerns that exist in the modern world. Our program emphasizes experiential learning and creates opportunities for students to get out of the class room into nature.

Our major combines a biomedical science-focused curriculum, a local or international medical experience, and a self-designed plan of study to include a minor or other courses of interest that prepare our graduates for entry into professional schools.

Through the Discover Arts and Discover Sciences programs, students take a seminar acquainting them with the University and the College. The seminar will cover the curriculum and careers of each program, as well as the multitude of complementary minors. With the help of this seminar, along with the assistance of an academic adviser, students discover the program that best suits their needs and goals.

The study of history provides students with important skills – including critical reading, writing and thinking – that will make them informed citizens ready to work for the common good. Electrical engineering is a broad-based degree program concerning the study and application of devices and systems involving electrical signals, electronics and electromagnetics. It includes the rapidly developing areas of control systems, digital and computer systems, microelectronics, telecommunications, radar systems, robotics, signal and image processing, and more.
