The criminal justice studies major is individualized and students choose the justice path that is right for them. The program is an excellent academic home for students interested in law and legal careers, intelligence, forensic psychology, federal law enforcement, probation and work with at-risk populations in the community.

Operations and supply management is the critical process within every business that creates, distributes and improves products and services while ensuring the process is streamlined and efficient.

While core operations vary from business to business, key elements include production, inventory planning and control, procurement, sourcing and materials management, project planning and control, distribution and warehouse management, production scheduling, quality assurance and management.

Our state-of-the-art program combines coursework in management and operations planning with hands-on experience through capstone consulting projects. You will take courses from various fields of study in addition to the core set of six operations and supply management courses. Electives allow you to tailor your studies based on your interests, and you may choose concentrations in business process management, e-commerce, entrepreneurship, manufacturing, operations accounting, quality management and supply chain management.

Students in our technical and professional writing program can make complicated material both understandable and usable for real-world audiences.

The UD School of Education and Health Sciences offers 11 undergraduate degree programs and 11 undergraduate certificate, licensure & endorsement programs to help prepare students for careers in education, health, wellness, sport or physical activity. UD SEHS also offers 24 graduate degree programs and 22 graduate certificate, licensure & endorsement programs. Recent graduates are employed as scientists in academia, industry and government, or pursuing postgraduate education. In addition to our rigourous academic program, students can work side-by-side with faculty on research projects such as discovering novel inhibitors of bacterial efflux pumps as a way to combat multi-drug resistance in bacteria, studying biodegradation of polymer coatings, and discovering new photodynamic lung cancer treatments.

We offer a theatre and dance major that allows for artists to become well-rounded and socially conscious practitioners through experiential learning in all areas. Students can pursue four different concentrations in the major: acting, applied theatre, dance and performance technology, or simply choose theatre studies for a generalist approach.

As a student in the Interdisciplinary Educational Studies program at the University of Dayton, you’ll have the flexibility to chart your own path to success and design a program to meet your diverse professional goals.

Candidates must select concentration coursework from both the School of Education and Health Sciences and at least one department outside SEHS.

Our B.A. in communication prepares students for professional careers in a wide range of communication fields: broadcasting, communication management, healthcare administration, journalism and public relations. Our graduates succeed in business, education, government, healthcare, international relations, and social and human services. We also offer graduate studies in business communication and law, and an undergraduate certificate in sport communication.
