The graduate program in computer science offers a comprehensive approach to the theory and application of computer science. Graduates of the program will have:

• A thorough grounding in the theory of computing science and the ability to apply that knowledge to a variety of problem areas,
• Been exposed to a variety of analytical methods and will demonstrate a basic understanding of those methods, and
• Been exposed to a wide breadth of computer science information by having studied several of the dominant sub-disciplines of computer science.

The program is individualized to meet each student's needs and provides a firm foundation for continuing on to the doctorate or a professional career. The program accommodates both full-time and part-time students.

The science facilities at University of Dayton’s Science Center complex include the latest equipment. As a graduate student, you’ll gain firsthand experience with nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometers, high pressure liquid chromatography equipment and more. Students may choose to pursue projects in all major chemistry sub-disciplines.

Operations and supply management is the critical process within every business that creates, distributes and improves products and services while ensuring the process is streamlined and efficient.

While core operations vary from business to business, key elements include production, inventory planning and control, procurement, sourcing and materials management, project planning and control, distribution and warehouse management, production scheduling, quality assurance and management.

Our state-of-the-art program combines coursework in management and operations planning with hands-on experience through capstone consulting projects. You will take courses from various fields of study in addition to the core set of six operations and supply management courses. Electives allow you to tailor your studies based on your interests, and you may choose concentrations in business process management, e-commerce, entrepreneurship, manufacturing, operations accounting, quality management and supply chain management.

We foster the understanding of language and literature from rhetorical, creative, critical, historical, comparative and global perspectives. With our diverse array of tracks, coupled with our faculty's broad range of expertise, our students can learn anything from British literature, linguistics, grant writing or creative writing.

Computer information systems (CIS) overlaps many other fields, so we prepare our students to face a wide range of challenges. The CIS major has a built-in minor that allows you to choose an area of interest, such as entrepreneurship or financial mathematics, that will greatly enhance your marketability after graduation.

The UD School of Education and Health Sciences offers 11 undergraduate degree programs and 11 undergraduate certificate, licensure & endorsement programs to help prepare students for careers in education, health, wellness, sport or physical activity. UD SEHS also offers 24 graduate degree programs and 22 graduate certificate, licensure & endorsement programs. Our students develop professional skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary to provide effective and compassionate therapy for individuals of all ages. Graduates are prepared to assess client needs and design and facilitate individualized therapeutic music experiences in composing, listening, improvising and performing. An integral part of the curriculum is supervised clinical service to individuals and groups in a variety of community settings, including skilled nursing care, early intervention programs, substance use rehabilitation and special needs classrooms.

Recent graduates are employed as scientists in academia, industry and government, or pursuing postgraduate education. In addition to our rigourous academic program, students can work side-by-side with faculty on research projects such as discovering novel inhibitors of bacterial efflux pumps as a way to combat multi-drug resistance in bacteria, studying biodegradation of polymer coatings, and discovering new photodynamic lung cancer treatments.
