The criminal justice studies major is individualized and students choose the justice path that is right for them. The program is an excellent academic home for students interested in law and legal careers, intelligence, forensic psychology, federal law enforcement, probation and work with at-risk populations in the community.

French and English are the only languages spoken on all five inhabited continents. With 300 million French speakers in the world, the ability to speak French is a career asset for our graduates. French is the official working language of the United Nations, the European Union, UNESCO, NATO, the International Olympic Committee and the International Red Cross.

Our graduates enjoy successful careers in business analytics, computer science, economics, engineering, teaching and research. A degree in mathematics also prepares students for graduate studies in mathematics and many related fields.

As a sociology major you will build awareness for the different types of social inequality that exist, who is negatively impacted, where and how it emerges, and what perpetuates it. Courses will not only shed light on social inequality, but will teach you how to do something about it.

Students gain technical and conceptual skills in the field of photography, with opportunities to collaborate across a wide range of fields and disciplines within the art world and beyond.

The UD School of Education and Health Sciences offers 11 undergraduate degree programs and 11 undergraduate certificate, licensure & endorsement programs to help prepare students for careers in education, health, wellness, sport or physical activity. UD SEHS also offers 24 graduate degree programs and 22 graduate certificate, licensure & endorsement programs. As a UD Dietetics major, you'll thrive in an environment where hands-on learning, professionalism, leadership, and evidence-based practice are at the forefront. Students are mentored and taught by faculty who are registered and licensed dietitian nutritionists (RDNs) to support your growth and development, both in and out of the classroom.

Our students are taught by an outstanding array of scholar-teachers in areas of inquiry that include American politics, public law, public administration, international relations, comparative politics, public policy, environmental politics, urban politics and political theory.

The issues facing us today are increasingly global in nature. The context in which we lead our professional and personal lives is steadily becoming more multicultural and global in scope, demanding new levels of international knowledge - knowledge beyond just geography, a few phrases of a foreign language, and a guide book.

Philosophy offers students the opportunity to investigate deep and difficult questions about human existence, morality, truth and knowledge. Our major is comprehensive and challenging – incorporating logic, ethics, the history of philosophy and a generous number of electives that allow students to pursue their own particular interests.
