As a student in the Interdisciplinary Educational Studies program at the University of Dayton, you’ll have the flexibility to chart your own path to success and design a program to meet your diverse professional goals.

Candidates must select concentration coursework from both the School of Education and Health Sciences and at least one department outside SEHS.

Students receive a professional art degree and teacher licensure upon graduation. Licensure is transferable to other states and unlike other art education programs, UD students start working with young people right away.

This program teaches and instills leadership traits and qualities, so that you may one day lead an organization. Students gain unique skills and experiences related to the military, such as map reading, land navigation, marksmanship, rappelling and much more. The UD School of Education and Health Sciences offers 11 undergraduate degree programs and 11 undergraduate certificate, licensure & endorsement programs to help prepare students for careers in education, health, wellness, sport or physical activity. UD SEHS also offers 24 graduate degree programs and 22 graduate certificate, licensure & endorsement programs. As a member of the Discover Engineering Technology program at the University of Dayton, you will be able to explore the academic programs in the School of Engineering before finalizing your major.

You'll be enrolled in a specially designed seminar course that offers an introduction to the division, its faculty, curriculum, opportunities for graduates, and the various policies and procedures necessary for the successful student to follow. This seminar provides information on cooperative education and internship opportunities, as well as extracurricular options. The classes are small, and the attention is as individual as needed. With the help of this seminar, along with the assistance of your knowledgeable adviser, you will discover the area of engineering technology that's right for you.

Once you decide on your engineering academic program, students admitted as Discover Engineering Technology are guaranteed to move into any engineering technology program and students admitted as Discover Engineering are guaranteed to move into any engineering program. MIS brings together the various areas in business and information technology to focus on the process of providing the information necessary for making decisions and conducting business.

Our innovative MIS program is one of the best available as it combines strong business and technical components with real-world experiences. You’ll learn both theory and methodology, allowing you to analyze, design, implement and manage information systems in business settings.

To prepare you for the varied career paths within MIS, you may focus your studies on business intelligence, cyber security or opt for breadth in your choice of electives. Our innovative program integrates a specialization in information management with accounting, finance, marketing and operations to prepare you for today’s fast-paced business environment.

As a UD Dietetics major, you'll thrive in an environment where hands-on learning, professionalism, leadership, and evidence-based practice are at the forefront. Students are mentored and taught by faculty who are registered and licensed dietitian nutritionists (RDNs) to support your growth and development, both in and out of the classroom.

The LLM program focuses on the American legal system and laws that transcend national boundaries. This program is available for international students who already have a first degree in law from a foreign university upon the completion of 30 credits of course work.
