From market research and product design to advertising and sales, marketing is the process of planning and executing the distribution of ideas, goods and services. In marketing, you will learn to identify, understand and satisfy the needs of consumers and organizations. Our curriculum teaches you to see the "big picture" of the overall marketing process while you learn about specialized marketing activities such as advertising, product development and sales.

During the capstone marketing course, you will take an in-depth look at buyer behavior and market research as you design a marketing plan to deliver a product or service effectively and efficiently to the target market for a real organization.

In addition to core marketing classes, electives allow you to specialize in advertising, entrepreneurial marketing, international marketing, Internet marketing, promotion management or retail marketing. And, if you are interested in sales, you can earn an emphasis in sales management or product innovation — offering a highly desirable set of skills.

Environmental biology is a dynamic and growing major which prepares students with the scientific background needed to understand and address the many pressing environmental concerns that exist in the modern world. Our students are immersed in a challenging academic experience that combines theory and practice. You begin in the classroom learning the foundations of biology, but quickly find yourself discovering antibiotic-producing bacteria, wading through wetlands, exploring behavioral neuroscience, analyzing real-time physiological data collected on classmates, or studying patterns of evolution in fruit flies.
