Some of the topics that a student of economics studies are: pricing, the effects of taxing and regulation by the government, inflation, income distribution and international trade.

Environmental biology is a dynamic and growing major which prepares students with the scientific background needed to understand and address the many pressing environmental concerns that exist in the modern world. Students with a degree in applied mathematical economics learn to utilize mathematical modeling to analyze problems, which prepares them to pursue a variety of professions in business and economics. Our graduates have used their degree to launch careers in cost analysis, risk analysis, actuarial consulting, operations research, data science, quality control, investment consulting, insurance and technology consulting

Prepare to perform in an opera, musical, recording studio, orchestra, band, chorus, chamber ensemble or as a soloist. Students may choose to pursue projects in all major chemistry sub-disciplines.

As a sociology major you will build awareness for the different types of social inequality that exist, who is negatively impacted, where and how it emerges, and what perpetuates it. Courses will not only shed light on social inequality, but will teach you how to do something about it.

As a UD Foreign Language Education major, you'll learn the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the needs of our changing and global world — and prepare others to do the same. Upon graduation, you'll be prepared to teach French, German or Spanish to students in Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12.
