The Bachelor of Science in Information Technologies gives students the opportunity to combine technical abilities, business acumen, people skills, and a keen problem-solving mindset to help organizations large and small leverage new technologies for innovating practices, products, and processes. Aligned to the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) and informed by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) framework for information technology baccalaureate degree programs, this degree will prepare students for current IT work and provide the skills and dispositions to ready themselves and their organizations for the rapid evolution of future technologies. Students will learn the fundamental information technologies, systems, data management methods, and computational thinking strategies necessary to support organizational decision-making and recommend effective system design and maintenance solutions.
