Non-Profit Management and Leadership
Choose this concentration if you want to pursue a management career, leadership on boards of directors, and advocacy in the diverse world of nonprofit organizations. Rockefeller’s Nonprofit Management concentration has been designed by university faculty in consultation with the nonprofit community to provide you with the foundation to become an effective leader of nonprofit and voluntary organizations.

The Master of Public Health (MPH) provides you with a strong foundation in primary public health fields and advanced knowledge in your area of interest. Concentration options include biomedical sciences, biostatistics, environmental health, epidemiology, health policy and management, and social behavior and community health.

Accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health, the two-year MPH program includes professional internships that let you directly contribute to the success of public programs that aim to eradicate disease, develop vaccines, reduce infant mortality, ensure food safety, monitor water quality, and more.

Painting and Drawing
The Painting and Drawing area provides the core of the studio foundation program, offering courses in Drawing, Painting, Two-Dimensional Design and Color Theory. Students gain a basic understanding of the formal and conceptual components of Painting and Drawing, as well as a working knowledge of historical and contemporary developments in the media. The primary emphasis is to cultivate a student's comprehension of visual principles and pictorial mechanics as elements that are fundamental to artistic progress. Students are encouraged to employ these skills in seeking a personal artistic expression.

The bachelor’s in business administration program at UAlbany will increase your understanding of fundamental business concepts and provide you with practical skills in your chosen area of concentration.

Educational Psychology Concentration

The Bachelor of Science in Chemistry program is a combined major and minor sequence. You can follow one of three tracks:

Politics
Can a policy come to life without politics? Take on the deep dive into the world of politics and explore how politics and policy interact and support each other. Understanding campaigns and elections in the U.S., as well as the role of federal, state and local governments, will help every future policy maker be better at their job.

Learn how governments, political organizations, individuals, and nations act to create and realize public values and goals. You’ll prepare for responsible and effective citizenship, political participation, and advanced academic or professional studies. You will also learn to understand and appreciate different political values, institutions, and processes that operate in local, national, and international systems.

Public Law
Public law at the University at Albany has a national reputation for the quality of its program. You will study with faculty in areas related to law, legal actors, and legal systems. Learn about  national and subnational legal processes, the relationship between law and state development, the relationship of law and the legal system to public policy, interest groups, the media, and the political system in general. You will also have opportunities to examine doctrinal issues in constitutional and public law, as well as the relationship of private law to public policy in the United States and around the world.

Art History Research and Internships
