Great Texts of the Western Tradition
The Great Texts major is one of two undergraduate majors within the Baylor University Honors College, but it is not required that you be part of Honors to major in Great Texts. The coursework includes the study of influential written works from a variety of cultures throughout the ages. Available courses include:

Health, Kinesiology, and Leisure Studies
The Health, Kinesiology, and Leisure Studies major is for students preparing for the general career areas of health, fitness, recreation and sports, so it is well suited students unsure of which area they are most interested in pursuing. The program's popular feature is that general electives may also meet entrance requirements for professional schools. This is especially helpful in those instances where Baylor University does not have a pre-professional degree program in the field a student is interested in.  Course available include:

The Geology major focuses on a wide variety of topics that include materials of the Earth (minerals and rocks) and processes that affect them, as well as the evolution of life and its relationship to Earth materials and processes. These processes can include the formation of rocks, mountains and volcanoes, wind and water.Geologists utilize chemistry, biology and physics to investigate environmental issues, hydrocarbon accumulations, natural hazards, water quality and availability, ores and valuable minerals and natural disasters. • Volcanology
• Global Biogeochemical Cycles

Electrical and Computer Engineering
The Electrical and Computer Engineering major (designated as a pre-major) is a nationally-recognized program designed for students interested in math and science and the advancement of technology. The Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) has accredited the Baylor program, which gives ECE students the opportunity to analyze, design and build a variety of devices enabling an understanding of the principles behind modern technologies and prepare them to play a role in shaping the future. Education - Spanish All Level
The All-Level Spanish Education program prepares students to teach Spanish in grades K through 12. Graduates of the All-Level Spanish Education program earn a Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S. Ed.) with certification in Spanish Education. Supplemental certification may be added in English as a Second Language. Students of All-Level Spanish Education do not have to be fluent in Spanish prior to starting the major.
