The Apparel Merchandising program focuses on developing professional skills, such as communication, analytical thinking, teamwork and ethical behavior. Marketing
The Marketing major (designated as a pre-major) is a comprehensive study of promoting, pricing and placing a product. Marketing students can choose an emphasis in Sports, Strategy and Sales, Nonprofit and Social Enterprise Marketing or tailor their own marketing emphasis by selecting any three marketing courses beyond what is required.Available courses include:

Political Science
Political Science students learn about American political history and institutions, study constitutional law from the founding era to the latest Supreme Court decision, master the techniques of political analysis and examine political change worldwide. Political Science is one of the most popular majors for students interested in law school. Baylor's Department of Political Science offers a pre-law track for political science majors. We offer a range of courses that deal with many of the most important issues that lawyers and jurists confront in their careers, from criminal justice, constitutional law, public policy and the courts and international law. Students from any discipline may also choose to pursue a minor in Criminal Justice.

The Physical Education major prepares students for teaching or coaching grades K-12. This degree program satisfies the requirements for the Texas Teachers Certification and prepares students to teach grades K-12 with an emphasis in coaching in either a private or a public school setting. Apparel Design and Product Development
The Apparel Design & Product Development curriculum develops students into professionals that will be successful in both the domestic and international marketplace. Fashion design is the development of apparel, textile and consumer products that meet the needs of specific consumer markets. Students develop an understanding of these needs through the study of consumer behavior, demographics and psychographics. Apparel Design courses are both creative and high technical. Greek program is in the Classics Department. Students with a Greek major study texts taught in their original language, grammar and Greek culture. Education - Middle Grade Social Studies
The Middle Grades Education Program is ideal for students who are eager to work with growing minds and daily changes. When teaching middle grades students, who are discovering who they are and what they want to do with their lives, there is rarely a dull moment in the classroom. The program prepares highly qualified teachers that will earn a Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S. Ed.) with a specific subject in 4-8 certification. Supplemental certification may be added in English as a Second Language.
