The Marketing major (designated as a pre-major) is a comprehensive study of promoting, pricing and placing a product. Marketing students can choose an emphasis in Sports, Strategy and Sales, Nonprofit and Social Enterprise Marketing or tailor their own marketing emphasis by selecting any three marketing courses beyond what is required.Available courses include:

A degree in Marketing qualifies graduates for many occupations like Sales and Customer Service, Product Management, and Marketing Research. Other students find work in Advertising, Sales Promotion, Event Marketing, and Purchasing.  The marketing department works with students to place them in internships to enhance students' resumes and provide experience in the market place.

The Communication Specialist major is a combination of studies in digital media and speech communication. This program of study blends a leadership/management/organizational communication focus with the development of expertise in digital media production. This major is appropriate for students with a wide array of career aspirations but is most appropriate for those intending to take advantage of communication expertise in a corporate career track. The Great Texts major is one of two undergraduate majors within the Baylor University Honors College, but it is not required that you be part of Honors to major in Great Texts. The coursework includes the study of influential written works from a variety of cultures throughout the ages. Available courses include:

• Theological Interpretation of Scripture

• Masterworks in Drama

Slavic and East European Studies surveys countries that make-up more than one-fifth of the global landmass and are collectively home to more than 300 million people.
