Bioinformatics
Baylor's Bioinformatics undergraduate program was one of the first of its kind when it was created. The Bioinformatics major is a combination of computer science, life sciences, mathematics and statistics. The goal of the program is to produce students competent across multiple disciplines. Apparel Design and Product Development
The Apparel Design & Product Development curriculum develops students into professionals that will be successful in both the domestic and international marketplace. Fashion design is the development of apparel, textile and consumer products that meet the needs of specific consumer markets. Students develop an understanding of these needs through the study of consumer behavior, demographics and psychographics. Apparel Design courses are both creative and high technical. The Medical Humanities program (designated as a pre-major) at Baylor is a unique major, and there are only a few of its kind across the country.  It is designed to provide a holistic education for students interested in working in the medical or healthcare field. The Medical Humanities program studies how humanities, social science and the arts relate to medical education and practice. A major in Medical Humanities helps undergraduate students enter the field of healthcare in several different capacities.  It is a popular major for students in the premedicine, pre-dental and pre-law tracks as well as students pursuing nursing, social work and health education or healthcare administration. Graduates have worked in public health, hospitals, clinics, pharmacies and counseling centers.

Sociology is the science that studies the social relationships of people. Coursework includes the study of a wide range of human behaviors from individual development, to relational growth, social institutions including groups, organizations, cultures and social structures. Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation
Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation program is designated as a pre-major.  The program develops students' knowledge of the entrepreneurial process.  It also develops the technical tools and techniques required in various ventures. Several publications have recognized the strengths of the program with awards and recognitions.  These publications include U.S. News & World Report, The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur Magazine. Students may also pursue a Social Entrepreneurship Track.  Available courses include:

The music major is for serious musicians who are resolute about pursuing new frontiers and not afraid to challenge musical conventions. The major is in the liberal arts tradition.  It is a good fit for students who want a music degree, but also want to take extra courses outside their major course of study.
