The International Year program is designed especially for international students. Asian Studies
The Asian Studies program provides opportunities for study and research of the diverse societies that inhabit the Asian continent. The program takes as its geographical focus the regions of Eurasia and the Asia-Pacific. Interdisciplinary in approach, the program spans the fields of economics, foreign languages, history, political science, sociology and religion, and is dedicated to providing opportunities for foreign study and field experiences.

Through its major, minor and concentration curricula, the Asian Studies program is designed to provide students with a solid foundation to pursue careers in government services, business, and nongovernmental organizations, as well as for further graduate study.

Economics
The Economics major is offered in three different degree programs, as a Bachelor of Business Administration (designated as a pre-major), a Bachelor of Arts (BA), or a Bachelor of Science (BS). Each degree program is a slightly different variation of the core curriculum based on the degree requirement differences between the College of Arts and Sciences and the Business School. Available courses include:

Choosing an Economics major in the Business School (BBA) provides the opportunity to take classes targeted toward four different career positions: consultant, public agency analyst, international economist or corporate business economist. Other possibilities for students graduating with an Economics degree include taking a position as a product risk analyst or risk and control advisor. A Bachelor of Arts in Economics is ideal for students wishing to attend graduate or law school while the Bachelor of Science in Economics is ideal for those wishing to work in the medical or scientific field.

Russian
The Russian language is used throughout the world and is one of the five official languages of the United Nations. The Secondary Education program prepares students to work in grades 7-12. Graduates of the Secondary Education program earn a Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S. Ed.) with certification in one subject area (listed below). Supplemental certification may be added in English as a Second Language.

Biochemistry

The Finance major is the study of the decision-making process involved in managing and acquiring assets to create a profit. It is a pre-major.  The major offers two focuses, Corporate Finance and Investments. Corporate Finance is the study of research and acquisition of assets for companies. The study of Investments includes the valuing of financial securities and corporate and personal portfolio management. Available courses include:

Social Work
The Social Work program (designated as a pre-major) is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. At the Diana R.
