Asian Studies
The Asian Studies program provides opportunities for study and research of the diverse societies that inhabit the Asian continent. The program takes as its geographical focus the regions of Eurasia and the Asia-Pacific. Interdisciplinary in approach, the program spans the fields of economics, foreign languages, history, political science, sociology and religion, and is dedicated to providing opportunities for foreign study and field experiences.

Through its major, minor and concentration curricula, the Asian Studies program is designed to provide students with a solid foundation to pursue careers in government services, business, and nongovernmental organizations, as well as for further graduate study.

Astrophysics
Astrophysics is the branch of Astronomy that deals with the physics of space. It includes the physical properties of space objects (like planets, starts, galaxies and comets) as well as their interactions. Astrophysics includes many other disciplines from physics, such as electromagnetism, relativity, mechanics, and atomic and molecular physics. The Astrophysics major is offered as either a Bachelor of Science (BS) or a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Available courses include:

Slavic and East European Studies surveys countries that make-up more than one-fifth of the global landmass and are collectively home to more than 300 million people. The Apparel Design & Product Development curriculum develops students into professionals that will be successful in both the domestic and international marketplace. Fashion design is the development of apparel, textile and consumer products that meet the needs of specific consumer markets. Students develop an understanding of these needs through the study of consumer behavior, demographics and psychographics. Apparel Design courses are both creative and high technical. Piano Pedagogy
The Pedagogy major in the School of Music develops the student's skill in both playing and teaching piano. Engineering
The engineering program, accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, builds on a common core of basic sciences and mathematics, humanities and social sciences, and engineering sciences developed primarily in the first two years of study. Mathematics and basic sciences provide the technical foundation for the engineering curriculum.

Owing to the value of hands-on experience, Baylor helps students find rich opportunities for summer internships. Many graduates continue their professional education by attending graduate school programs in engineering, law, medicine or business.

The B.A. degree in Earth Science covers a broad spectrum of topics and is designed to give the Earth science major an understanding of the Earth's materials and processes. The Statistics program is designed to provide a balance between statistical theory and applications of statistical methods. It helps students discern how principles are applied to the collection, analysis, presentation and interpretation of data. With an emphasis being placed on acquiring research, consulting and teaching skills, the curriculum is applicable to biomedical, industrial and academic careers. Available courses include:

The BS in Mathematics curriculum provides the student with a basic background in mathematics.  It allows a student to place some emphasis on an area of mathematics that is related to engineering, the biological, physical, or social sciences. The BA in Mathematics curriculum provides the student with a basic background in mathematics in the context of a liberal arts education.
