The Philosophy major provides a solid foundation in the history of philosophy.  It also provides an in-depth study of specific subject areas including logic, ethics, aesthetics, epistemology, and metaphysics. This dual emphasis cultivates students' capacity for critical analysis, stimulates independent thinking and promotes sound reasoning based on knowledge, moral discrimination and religious insight. Astrophysics
Astrophysics is the branch of Astronomy that deals with the physics of space. It includes the physical properties of space objects (like planets, starts, galaxies and comets) as well as their interactions. Astrophysics includes many other disciplines from physics, such as electromagnetism, relativity, mechanics, and atomic and molecular physics. The Astrophysics major is offered as either a Bachelor of Science (BS) or a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Available courses include:

Computer Science
The department of Computer Science offers a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) as well as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in computer science.
