The International Year program is designed especially for international students. Supply Chain Management
The Supply Chain Management major (designated as a pre-major) prepares students to manage activities involved in the creation of goods and services. Students develop the ability to apply problem-solving tools related to productivity improvement, quality control, production scheduling, and materials management.  They are also able to present an integrated top-management view of the entire operations function. Courses help students prepare for professional certifications in Supply Management (CPSM) and Project Management (PMP).  Available courses include:

There is a wide choice of career options for graduates. Earth Science
The B.A. degree in Earth Science covers a broad spectrum of topics and is designed to give the Earth science major an understanding of the Earth's materials and processes. Topical areas in the Earth science curriculum encompass astronomy, meteorology, oceanography, as well as geology. Available courses include:

The Earth Science major can be combined with a major in Environmental Studies for students interested in the impact humanity has on the natural environment. Communication Sciences and Disorders is a major that trains students in the processes of communication and speaking. This includes education in identifying and treating various disorders of communication and speech. In this field, professionals seek to diagnose and treat a variety of disorders, improving communication while also improving quality of life. Baylor's major in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) emphasizes speech-language pathology and offers comprehensive education in the fundamental principles of the field. The Communication Specialist major is a combination of studies in digital media and speech communication. This program of study blends a leadership/management/organizational communication focus with the development of expertise in digital media production. It is a pre-major.  The major offers two focuses, Corporate Finance and Investments. Corporate Finance is the study of research and acquisition of assets for companies. Astronomy
Astronomy is the study of the universe and all the bodies within it. It examines origins of the universe, stars and planets as well as how they move and evolve in space. Since scientists are rarely able to physically examine many objects in space, astronomy is mostly an observational science. Math, physics, chemistry and geology contribute to astronomy and help inform our understanding of the universe. Astronomy also relies on a variety of instruments, tools, and computer software for analysis and gathering data. Available courses include:

Latin
The Latin major, like the Greek major, is in the Classics Department. It is a rigorous study of the Classic Greek and Roman world. The Latin major focuses on original Latin texts and their cultural impact. Upon graduation, Latin majors are able to read and write in Latin. Philosophy
The Philosophy major provides a solid foundation in the history of philosophy.  It also provides an in-depth study of specific subject areas including logic, ethics, aesthetics, epistemology, and metaphysics. This dual emphasis cultivates students' capacity for critical analysis, stimulates independent thinking and promotes sound reasoning based on knowledge, moral discrimination and religious insight. • History of Medicine
• Philosophical Issues in Feminism

The Philosophy Department offers a Pre-Law track as well as a Medical Concentration. Studying philosophy provides excellent preparation for the problem solving, critical thinking and analytical writing essential for the law and medical professions. Philosophy is also offered as a minor for students wishing to enhance another academic major.

Today’s ever expanding visual world is in increasing need of educated, visually trained professionals, whether as designers, teachers, artists, museum professionals, consultants, or for the many other professions that require creativity, visual acuity, and problem solving skills.

To meet these increasing needs the Baylor University Department of Art offers students both a BA or BFA (the professional undergraduate degree) in Studio Art with separate concentrations in seven area:
