The International Year program is designed especially for international students. Geophysics
A very quantitative track in Geology is called Geophysics, and this degree combines the study of geology with math and physics. The Geophysics major focuses on the structure of the Earth using seismic waves, and these students are highly sought after by petroleum companies. Students choose one of three concentrations: Environmental Geophysics, Earthquake Geophysics and Petroleum Exploration Geophysics. Available courses include:

The Statistics program is designed to provide a balance between statistical theory and applications of statistical methods. It helps students discern how principles are applied to the collection, analysis, presentation and interpretation of data. With an emphasis being placed on acquiring research, consulting and teaching skills, the curriculum is applicable to biomedical, industrial and academic careers. Available courses include:

Public Health
Public Health program is a nationally accredited degree program. The program prepares students to promote healthy lifestyles and enhance quality of life for individuals and communities. Public Health educators work in a variety of work settings including nonprofit community health organizations, public health agencies, work site and health promotion programs and schools and voluntary health agencies (American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, etc).  Available courses include:

Public health educators are employed under a variety of job titles. Some examples include a health educator, health promotion specialist, public or clinical health educator, health information specialist, program director, outreach coordinator, patient or treatment adherence educator, health program manager, community organizer and health intervention specialist.

The Church Music program at Baylor University is designed for students desiring to take their passion for music and utilize it in a church setting. The Church Music major is available in the Bachelor of Music (BM) degree or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. All students desiring to pursue a Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Music Education or Bachelor of Arts in Music degree must audition before members of the appropriate applied music faculty for acceptance into a music degree program. Students may pursue either a BM or BA in Church Music.
The Church Music major in the Bachelor of Music (BM) program at Baylor allows students to concentrate on one of three different emphases depending on their primary instrument: keyboard, instrumental or voice. The Bachelor of Arts program is designed in the liberal arts tradition and is a good fit for students who want a church music degree and who want to take additional courses outside of their major course of study.

Environmental Health Science
Environmental Health Science studies the relationship between the environment and human health. This includes preventing illness by identifying and assessing hazardous agents, environmental sources and limiting exposures to chemical, physical and biological agents in air, water, soil, food and other environments that may impact human health. Environmental health professionals work to ensure safe water, food, air quality and workplace conditions, mitigate the impact of disasters and investigate and help control disease outbreaks. Psychology is the study of mental processes and behavior. As psychology majors (designated as a pre-major), students learn about many diverse concepts including perception, cognition, emotion and personality. Other concepts include behavior, interpersonal relationships and the individual and collective unconscious. Coursework involves the application of learned concepts to spheres of human activity. The Psychology major is available either as a Bachelor of Arts degree or as a Bachelor of Science degree. The Bachelor of Arts degree plan emphasizes the study of humanities in Psychology, while the Bachelor of Science degree plan has a greater emphasis in science and mathematics.

Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering (M.S.E.C.E.) program. The M.S.E.C.E. is a 30 semester-hour graduate program comprising 24 hours of graduate course work and a 6-hour research-oriented thesis. Prospective students are invited to review the research project areas in which our faculty and students are active.
