Electrical and Computer Engineering
The Electrical and Computer Engineering major (designated as a pre-major) is a nationally-recognized program designed for students interested in math and science and the advancement of technology. The Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) has accredited the Baylor program, which gives ECE students the opportunity to analyze, design and build a variety of devices enabling an understanding of the principles behind modern technologies and prepare them to play a role in shaping the future. The Economics major is offered in three different degree programs, as a Bachelor of Business Administration (designated as a pre-major), a Bachelor of Arts (BA), or a Bachelor of Science (BS). Each degree program is a slightly different variation of the core curriculum based on the degree requirement differences between the College of Arts and Sciences and the Business School. Choosing an Economics major in the Business School (BBA) provides the opportunity to take classes targeted toward four different career positions: consultant, public agency analyst, international economist or corporate business economist. Other possibilities for students graduating with an Economics degree include taking a position as a product risk analyst or risk and control advisor. A Bachelor of Arts in Economics is ideal for students wishing to attend graduate or law school while the Bachelor of Science in Economics is ideal for those wishing to work in the medical or scientific field.

Education - Middle Grade Social Studies
The Middle Grades Education Program is ideal for students who are eager to work with growing minds and daily changes. When teaching middle grades students, who are discovering who they are and what they want to do with their lives, there is rarely a dull moment in the classroom. The program prepares highly qualified teachers that will earn a Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S. Ed.) with a specific subject in 4-8 certification. Supplemental certification may be added in English as a Second Language.

It also involves training in written and oral communication development, teamwork, and critical thinking. Church Music
The Church Music program at Baylor University is designed for students desiring to take their passion for music and utilize it in a church setting. All students desiring to pursue a Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Music Education or Bachelor of Arts in Music degree must audition before members of the appropriate applied music faculty for acceptance into a music degree program. Students may pursue either a BM or BA in Church Music.

This program of study blends a leadership/management/organizational communication focus with the development of expertise in digital media production. This major is appropriate for students with a wide array of career aspirations but is most appropriate for those intending to take advantage of communication expertise in a corporate career track. Chemistry
The Chemistry department is one of the select programs nationwide that offers a B.S. that is accredited by the American Chemical Society (ACS) and is authorized to offer the certified bachelor's degree in chemistry. The Chemistry Department offers four different Chemistry degree plans in order to provide curriculum to the widest possible range of student career goals. Available courses include:

The Composition major trains students to be composers and versatile musicians. It is designed to help young composers develop/find their style/voice and compose out of educated intentionality. The program contains instruction in conducting, electronic music, improvisation, orchestration, theory and history courses.  Composition courses include:

The Composition program has a rigorous and broad curriculum. Graduates are well equipped to compose, perform, and teach. Many graduates also continue their education through graduate school.
