The master's in Experience Design is an interdisciplinary program that prepares future experience designers by providing a foundation in design methods, research, and collaboration. Students learn to apply theoretical frameworks and research methods to understand systems, define problems, and communicate potential solutions and their impact. By working on collaborative projects with local communities, students learn to create design-based artifacts tied to human-centered problems in a chosen disciplinary area (e.g., web/mobile design, game design, learning design).

For supply chain industry professionals who are seeking management roles, DePaul’s Supply Chain Management master’s degree will provide you with the necessary leadership and technical skills.

The master’s in Mathematics Education is an accelerated, six-quarter program for current and future secondary school math teachers. Meant to improve math instruction in Chicago and its suburbs, the program focuses on math content and teaching strategies and technologies, all directly tied to secondary curricular needs.

The only graduate program of its kind in the area, this 18-month program can be completed over a series of intensive weekend-only sessions that focus on

• Differential and integral calculus, numerical algorithms related to calculus and implementation of these algorithms using graphing calculators and web-based software;
• Euclidean and non-Euclidean geometry using software packages that emphasize content connected to the high school curriculum;
• Discrete mathematical structures with an emphasis on logic, proof and mathematical reasoning;
• Probability and statistics with an introduction to combinatorics;
• History of elementary number theory, algebra and geometry;
• Topics in abstract algebra that relate to high school courses in algebra, geometry and trigonometry; and
• Topics in real analysis with an emphasis on improving calculus instruction.

DePaul’s MS in General Psychology will prepare you for further doctoral training or for a range of psychology-related careers, such as statistical consulting and teaching. You’ll receive a solid grounding in theory, essential training in research methods and breadth of knowledge in several areas of psychology. The Master of Science in Film and Television emphasizes technical and creative proficiency in the areas of cinematography, editing, and sound for the screen. This intensive program is designed for students looking to acquire and further professional career skills in film and television. The degree is well-suited for career-changers as well as experienced professionals who want to add new technologies and creative workflows to their expertise.

The World Language Education (WLE) program integrates education and language courses. Your foreign language education degree will prepare you to teach kindergarten through 12th grade in a variety of urban and suburban education settings, including public and private schools.

As part of this program, you will take language courses from the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences and education courses from the College of Education. You will earn a BA from the College of Education, and concentrations are offered in Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.

DePaul's master's program in Writing, Rhetoric, and Discourse is Chicago's only graduate program to focus solely on writing, rhetoric, pedagogy, and language. Students build a solid theoretical foundation in rhetoric and discourse, and pair it with hands-on practical training; faculty in the program seek to make you a better writer and teach you exciting new approaches to the history, craft, politics, and practical applications of writing and content.
