Gain hands-on research experience in our archeological field school and projects throughout the city of Chicago. The Bachelor of Arts in anthropology prepares you with extensive knowledge of this field, qualifying you to work in nonprofit and for-profit research settings as well as academic careers.

Explore how gender, race and class are constructed in society

DePaul’s Women’s and Gender Studies MA program emphasizes critical theory and analysis in examining women’s lives, conditions and contributions within their historical, social, cultural, national and transnational contexts. Take a critical look at how gender, race, class and other systems of power are constructed in society.

Through DePaul’s Data Science program, you’ll develop a deep understanding of computer science, mathematics and information management — the three primary components of the data science profession.

As you work towards your B.S. in Data Science, program coursework will teach you:

Software engineering is a discipline concerned with the processes, methodologies, techniques, and tools of developing high-quality software systems in a cost-effective manner. The Software Engineering program emphasizes the best software engineering practices, current methodologies, emerging technologies, and their applications in various industries. Software Architecture
This concentration offers students with prior experience in software development the opportunity to sharpen their skill set and broaden their knowledge base in software development. This concentration addresses the management and design of large-scale software systems with a focus on critical technical decisions with global impacts on large systems. Students will be exposed to the unique challenges, issues, and methods in dealing with the architectural aspect of complex and large-scale software systems. Students in this concentration will be prepared to take technical leadership roles in software development teams that are responsible for large-scale software projects.
