The Organizational Communication program explores effective and participatory communication across business and organizational settings.

As an organizational communication major you will learn how to think, speak and write clearly—and how to act as an ethical communicator with confidence. And you will also begin to understand the multicultural character of communication in contemporary workplaces and society through courses that blend theory and practice.

The College of Communication is located in downtown Chicago, at DePaul’s Loop campus, giving you access to many media outlets and allowing you to meet and work professionally with leading companies in the industry.

In the master’s in Marketing program, you’ll deep-dive into hands-on marketing scenarios under the mentorship of faculty who are experts in the professional world. It prepares you for a successful career by giving you solid foundations in

Whatever your interest—language, literature or the intersection between Italian studies and other disciplines—DePaul’s flexible master’s in Italian provides you with a customizable curriculum to help you develop advanced linguistic and cultural expertise.

As a DePaul Film and Television major, you’ll choose between two degrees: a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree or a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Film and Television.

Our BA in Film and Television program will provide you with a generalist approach to filmmaking and tv production by teaching you how to use the latest digital technology and examining classic cinema narrative theory and aesthetics.

Our BFA in Film and Television program emphasizes the technical aspects of media production and explores the relationship between cinema production technologies and creative artistic expression. You’ll choose one of 11 filmmaking concentrations.

The Secondary Education program prepares you to teach 9th through 12th grade in a variety of urban and suburban education settings, including public and private high schools. You can graduate with a State of Illinois license to teach designated subject-area content (listed below). The program also provides you an opportunity to receive a Diploma Year Program Award (IB certification) to teach in International Baccalaureate schools world-wide.

As part of the secondary education major, you’ll learn educational theories and effective teaching practices, including how to design and implement curriculum; participate in extensive field experiences at multiple schools, and student-teach for 10 weeks.

The master’s in Digital Communication and Media Arts (DCMA) will give you the technical skills and tools to effectively navigate the digital communication landscape. This flexible program allows you to tailor your coursework across interests such as branding, content strategy, social media, data-driven marketing, media literacy, documentary production and design.

This interdisciplinary degree program is offered through the College of Communication and the College of Computing and Digital Media; you’ll take courses in Public Relations and Advertising, Journalism, Media and Cinema Studies, and Digital Communication.

The Master of Science in Real Estate equips you with the skills necessary to help you launch your career in real estate investment analysis and finance. Whether you’re a career changer or you already work in the industry and want to deepen your skills, the MS in Real Estate gives you a strong foundation for real estate industry leadership by immersing you in real-world projects with real Chicago companies.

Dive into the history, literature, language and culture of China—and prepare yourself to engage with Chinese-speaking communities in Chicago and around the globe. DePaul’s flexible MA in Chinese provides a customizable curriculum to help you develop advanced linguistic and cultural expertise.

The World Language Education (WLE) program integrates education and language courses. Your foreign language education degree will prepare you to teach kindergarten through 12th grade in a variety of urban and suburban education settings, including public and private schools.

As part of this program, you will take language courses from the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences and education courses from the College of Education. You will earn a BA from the College of Education, and concentrations are offered in Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.
