As a DePaul Film and Television major, you’ll choose between two degrees: a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree or a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Film and Television.

Our BA in Film and Television program will provide you with a generalist approach to filmmaking and tv production by teaching you how to use the latest digital technology and examining classic cinema narrative theory and aesthetics.

Our BFA in Film and Television program emphasizes the technical aspects of media production and explores the relationship between cinema production technologies and creative artistic expression. You’ll choose one of 11 filmmaking concentrations.

In the Network Engineering and Security degree program, you will learn the theory and practice of designing, deploying and managing both wired and wireless network technologies.

As a Network Engineering major, you will gain expertise in protocols and services that enable Internet and LAN services, design and management of local and wide area networks and voice and data network convergence through VoIP technologies.

You will obtain hands-on experience by working with network devices and servers in lab facilities focused on enterprise networks, security and multimedia network services.

Whether your interest is in Japanese literature, culture, history or language, DePaul’s flexible Japanese MA and its customizable curriculum allow you to develop advanced, specialized expertise. This program is ideal for both those who wish to pursue careers in translation, teaching or cultural institutions and for those who are preparing for an academic career.

As part of the Grace School of Applied Diplomacy at DePaul, our Master of Applied Diplomacy program unites traditional and non-traditional approaches to the field of diplomacy. Here, we know that the work of diplomacy is not limited to members of the foreign service, but practiced by members of non-governmental organizations, business people, scientists, and community organizers.

The MS in Community Psychology has been developed in response to interests expressed by community groups and organizations for assistance in addressing the needs of their most vulnerable members. The program prepares students to work at the master’s level in the field of Community Psychology in a variety of community, government and consulting work settings.

Students will learn how a community-based social justice perspective recognizes inequalities and promotes the exercise of greater power (i.e., access to resources and decision-making) for communities that have been marginalized, and creates ties to advocacy work with oppressed populations. The program leads to an applied, terminal MS degree.

Earn your master’s degree in History by exploring the breadth and depth of history with an emphasis on historiography. Historiography looks at how different scholars have approached a topic, what sources and methods they used to explore it, if there are any points of contention and how it has been viewed over time.

In DePaul’s Master of Science (MS) in Economics and Policy Analysis, you’ll gain in-depth knowledge of economic theory and advanced skills in data analysis that position you to examine economic and business policies. The research-driven curriculum prepares you to be a hands-on economic analyst.

Interested students participate in 12- to 16-week fellowships at private companies, a government agency, public policy institute, or nonprofit in Chicago, Washington D.C., or another city.

Learn how to think creatively, implement successful growth strategies and generate new business ideas with DePaul’s MBA in Entrepreneurship. Our nationally ranked entrepreneurship MBA program will teach you to build your own business as well as manage innovative processes in established firms.

Participate in entrepreneurship workshops and new-venture competitions. This is DePaul’s version of “Shark Tank,” designed to challenge you as rigorously as the real world does.

The master's in Product Innovation and Computing is offered by the College of Computing and Digital Media with some course work taken from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business (KGSB). This STEM degree incorporates the innovation and entrepreneurship processes with computer science, and allows students in the program to recognize broader issues in technology-related problems and understand the business constraints affecting this technology.

DePaul’s master’s in Public Policy (MPP) gives you the skills, experience and analytical tools to help shape governmental policies that influence our local, regional and national agendas. You’ll also learn how to advance policies that are beneficial to urban communities and to advocate for those who are marginalized or at risk.
