Applied and Computational Mathematics Concentration
The Applied and Computational Mathematics concentration is intended for students seeking a career as quantitative analysts, computational scientists, or applied mathematicians, or for those planning to continue the study of applied mathematics at the doctoral level. Students pursuing this concentration are exposed to a variety of mathematical methods, models, and computational tools that find use in science, engineering, business, computer science, and industry.

As you work towards your Islamic world studies degree, you’ll take courses from various departments, including history, religious studies, political science, international studies, modern languages and women’s and gender studies to help you develop an understanding of the Islamic world from multiple perspectives.

The MA in Biological Sciences prepares you to communicate your knowledge of life and living systems to others. Graduates of the MA typically plan to pursue advanced education degrees or teaching positions. With a Biological Sciences MA, you will

In DePaul’s Master of Science (MS) in Economics and Policy Analysis, you’ll gain in-depth knowledge of economic theory and advanced skills in data analysis that position you to examine economic and business policies. The research-driven curriculum prepares you to be a hands-on economic analyst.

Interested students participate in 12- to 16-week fellowships at private companies, a government agency, public policy institute, or nonprofit in Chicago, Washington D.C., or another city.

The World Language Education (WLE) program integrates education and language courses. Your foreign language education degree will prepare you to teach kindergarten through 12th grade in a variety of urban and suburban education settings, including public and private schools.

As part of this program, you will take language courses from the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences and education courses from the College of Education. Through our Healthcare Markets and Analytics MBA concentration, you’ll become prepared to analyze and use health data to make managerial decisions.

Our MBA in healthcare management program teaches you to use decision-making algorithms that apply data to economic models. Your courses will focus on economics within the health care sector — an industry that accounts for more than one-fifth of the U.S. economy.
