If you’re business-minded and technically proficient, but don’t have previous coursework or experience with information systems—this program is for you. The MS in Information Systems (IS) bridges the gap between business and IT. Business organizations are most interested in serving customers with the best products and services. IT is a fast-moving area with many kinds of technologies, tools, and systems. Our MS-IS program emphasizes understanding of diverse technology trends, agile project management, digital transformation, analytics systems, and innovation with six major elective domains. Students can interact with local IT leaders at annual IS conferences and participate in prominent companies’ real-world projects. Our curriculum has students gain hands-on experience with the latest versions of SAP ERP systems used by Fortune 500 companies and beyond.

In the English program, you’ll study the major authors, works, genres and literary movements in the British and American traditions, approaching these texts both analytically and historically. As an English major, you’ll develop your skills in analysis, interpretation and writing by studying British and American literatures, as well as important works in English from around the world.

Our program provides English majors with a well-rounded education where you’ll develop critical and creative thinking skills by examining texts analytically, historically and from multiple points of view. Anthropology is the comparative study of humanity that focuses on people in all places throughout history. Study beliefs, values and practices of various cultures and compare similarities and differences among diverse groups. By analyzing other cultures, you will learn more about your own.

Research plays an important role in the study of anthropology and will take place both in and outside of the classroom. Gain hands-on research experience in our archeological field school and projects throughout the city of Chicago. The Bachelor of Arts in anthropology prepares you with extensive knowledge of this field, qualifying you to work in nonprofit and for-profit research settings as well as academic careers.

DePaul’s bachelor degree in Applied Diplomacy program will provide you with a deep understanding and appreciation for traditional and non-traditional approaches to the field. As part of the recently launched Grace School of Applied Diplomacy, the program will teach you how the work of 21st century diplomacy is informed by the contributions of multiple voices and perspectives through the eyes of both scholars and practitioners.

For supply chain industry professionals who are seeking management roles, DePaul’s Supply Chain Management master’s degree will provide you with the necessary leadership and technical skills.

In DePaul’s Cyber-Physical Systems Engineering program, you’ll learn about engineering systems that integrate physical processes, computation and control. You’ll gain an understanding of how cyber-physical systems are used to manage electric grids and other infrastructures, home utilities and appliances, robots, autonomous vehicles, environmental sensor networks, traffic control, smart toys and Internet of Things (IoT) systems.

As you work toward your cyber engineering degree, you’ll learn how to:

• Analyze a simple physical process and develop a mathematical model that describes it
• Develop a feedback control system that controls a simple physical process
• Solve a computational problem by selecting appropriate data structures and algorithms
• Select the hardware (sensors, actuators, controllers, etc.) for a Cyber-Physical System
