Teaching (Chemistry - Teaching)
If the teaching field is your path, you'll gain an excellent background in chemistry as well as the educational knowledge you need to prepare for your own students. Chemistry teachers are in demand. The Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Teaching is designed for students intending to pursue a career in teaching theatre at the elementary, middle school, or high school level. This degree also prepares students to pursue an advanced degree in education. At its core, the BA in Theatre Teaching provides well-rounded theatrical training mixed with superior education courses. In this degree, students take 45 hours in theatre-specific courses, including acting, directing, and design. They also take 30 hours in education courses designed to sharpen their pedagogy skills. Additionally, there are numerous mainstage opportunities in our five productions each year along with scene work, student films, and Nashville professional opportunities. All students complete student teaching at an area school before graduation.

Environmental Chemistry Emphasis (Chemistry major - applied)
Choose the environmental chemistry emphasis and you’ll have excellent preparation for becoming an environmental laboratory professional.

The International Affairs major is the perfect way to maximize your semester abroad. Your 12 Global Learning credits will be applied to the major, fulfilling a core part of the coursework for this major. International Affairs integrates your language training, travels, and Lipscomb education. Further courses in political science and history will complement your experiences and broaden your knowledge base.

Our expert faculty specialize in different areas of computing and can help you broaden the skills you need to be valuable in any modern workplace.  We'll teach you to study, design, create, utilize, support and manage computer-based systems, software applications and computer hardware. This program is all about all things modern — embedded systems in automobiles, smart homes and even mobile and distributed systems.
