There's no capstone required for our biochemistry majors. But most of our students take part in undergraduate research at Lipscomb, at major research universities — or both. Teaching
The mathematics department at Lipscomb University prepares you to be an excellent teacher who is both mathematically sound and pedagogically proficient. We work closely with Lipscomb’s nationally ranked College of Education to ensure that you are trained and up to date in the latest educational standards and trends. The extra hours of foreign language required for a B.A. make for a highly marketable degree due to the diversity of Davidson County and the surrounding areas.

Many of our applied biochemistry graduates are flourishing medical doctors, dentists, pharmacists or physician assistants.
