Our B.S. in Finance is powerful and practical. It affords a versatility that enables you to find work across nearly any industry and business size—from startups to nonprofits to government agencies to global corporations.

You will learn how to raise capital for corporations, as well as how to invest capital in real projects and securities such as stocks and bonds.

The Programs provides a strong educational foundation in science and the liberal arts, and comprehensive coursework in veterinary technology. Through the synthesis of clinical and didactic experiences, students develop clinical competence, conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills for effective problem-solving. We seek to prepare graduates who will have essential literacies including written and oral communication skills and thus be clinically competent professionals able to provide quality care to the community and other groups of interest.

The Master of Science in Nutrition prepares students to assume leadership positions in the nutrition field. The program is designed to enhance professional qualifications as a food and nutrition specialist. Challenging courses for the advanced study of nutrition are provided. The student chooses various electives to complement a core curriculum of nutrition science, research methods, biomedical statistics as well as communication, education and counseling skills. A choice of challenging electives enables students to pursue individual interests. Students also complete a research project as a culminating experience of the degree.

The 120-credit Bachelor of Science in Mathematics is an excellent choice for students interested in pre-engineering, computer science or teaching. It includes higher-level math courses and additional credits in science or computer science.

The writing concentration explores various forms of creative expression through course work in literature, creative writing and non-fiction writing. Students pursuing this concentration have the opportunity to take courses in “Academic Writing” (expository, argumentative, creative writing), “Performance Writing” (screenplays, teleplays), “Writing for the Marketplace” (business, public relations), and “Rhetorical Theory” (ancient and modern).

The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater Arts with a concentration in Acting provides personalized and intensive classroom instruction and stage experience to prepare students for acting careers. Students receive a rigorous grounding in history, literature, theories and methodologies of classical and contemporary theatre arts, and work with professional actors and playwrights. Students also have a variety of opportunities to perform in main stage productions directed by renowned New York City directors. The 120-credit program is selective and acceptance into the program requires an audition.

The acting concentration draws from the Suzuki, Stanislavsky, Chekhov and Linklater techniques. The core program, taught by professional theatre artists, emphasizes development of a riveting stage presence based on dynamic physicality, emotional authenticity and a commanding voice. Students receive individual and ensemble training in television and film acting, singing and dancing from artists of national and international renown.

The Theatre Arts programs are designed to help you place theatre within the wider context of humanistic studies. The curriculum covers the broad-based study of theatre history and literature, acting, dance, design, directing, playwriting, dramaturgy, management and technical production. Classes are small and faculty members provide a supportive environment for you to develop as an individual artist.

The Sports Management program trains students in all aspects of sports management and places them at the doorstep of the most successful and lucrative businesses in the sports world. Students will study a variety of disciplines, including business, marketing, communications and management, and will gain industry-specific skills, such as representation, administration, branding, event planning, and public relations.

As an art major you will study with professional artists and leading scholars, as well as visiting guest artists from around the world. You will build a solid foundation in drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture and printmaking, while exploring the history and theory of human creativity in courses that range from the arts of the ancient Near East and the Mediterranean to contemporary photography and digital design. Art Foundations are required of all freshmen in the program, where concepts and practices in two- and three-dimensional art forms are examined. As a junior you will choose one or more of the studio arts as your concentration; as a senior you will work with a faculty advisor in preparing a B.F.A. exhibition of works in your chosen art media.

Students that pursue the 120-credit B.F.A. degree in Digital Art and Design have a variety of exciting career paths available to them. The program is intended to prepare students for successful careers in Graphic Design for Print, Web Design, Animation, and UX Interaction Design. The mission of the program is to impart fundamental knowledge of design and nurture the technical and creative skills necessary for graduates to secure opportunities as professional designers. Our plan of study provides students with comprehensive experience in industry-standard design software and introduces them to the different career paths they can pursue in various fields of design.
