Electrical Engineering
Electrical Engineers develop electrical systems using knowledge of physics, mathematics, circuit design, electromagnetic theory, communication theory, control systems and signal processing. Electrical engineering historically involved how the generation, transmission and utilization of electrical energy.

What Will I Learn
Within this program, you’ll design and conduct experiments, as well as analyze and interpret data along with designing a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability. You’ll also identify, formulate, solve engineering problems, and understand professional and ethical responsibility with an ability to communicate effectively. As part of this degree, you’ll be able to analyze and design complex electrical and electronic devices, software and systems containing hardware and software components.

The MIS program supports students and professionals in their applied use of computers. Information systems supports a variety of business activities using computer systems; it is not intended to prepare software developers.

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology. The mission of the geology program is to provide integrated and process-oriented curricula, based on fundamental scientific principles and processes that enable graduates to pursue challenging careers and maintain lifelong learning. Grounded in our academic tradition as a Hispanic Serving Institution, the undergraduate English Program at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi invites students to engage with texts and employ language-related skills to connect with others both locally and globally.

We encourage students to explore and integrate three disciplines of English studies in their work, through the study of literature, applied linguistics, and writing. We challenge students to analyze, think critically about, and compose texts across genres, language varieties, and traditions for communities across cultural and geographic boundaries. In our courses and community events, students develop the advanced critical and creative literacies and language-related skills that prepare them for their future as active and ethical members of diverse communities.

What Will I Learn

Our program offers performance opportunities via a wide array of ensembles which are open to all university students, including university orchestra, symphonic and concert bands, pep band, jazz band, university singers, Camerata Isla (chamber choir), and Corpus Christi Chorale. Music majors also participate in chamber ensembles including string quartet, various woodwind and brass ensembles, percussion ensemble, guitar ensemble, and more.

Students of history find themselves in classes that are reading and writing intensive. They hone their thinking ability as they encounter diverse views of historical development to implement methods and theories used in analyzing and understanding the past.

Within this program, you will understand, evaluate, and creatively use large amounts of information and put these to fruition in reading, writing, and speaking effectively.  You will also make keen observations, solve problems, and make appropriate decisions. Philosophy

Philosophy develops the capacity to see the world from the perspective of other individuals and other cultures; it enhances one's ability to perceive the relationships among the various fields of study; and it deepens one's sense of the meaning and variety of human experience.

Physics
The Joint B.S. Physics degree is a Bachelor of Science degree with a Physics major, provided through the joint efforts of physics faculty both here at TAMUCC and at other schools in the Texas Physics Consortium (TPC).

What Will I Learn
Within this program, you’ll gain a broad understanding of physics. You’ll be able to understand scientific methods and be able use them to develop and conduct studies of physical systems. You will also be able to communicate physical information effectively at the undergraduate level, whether the communication is in oral or written form, with or without the use of technology.
