The International Pathway Program (IPP) is designed especially for international students who have proven their academic ability but need to strengthen their English skills to achieve positive results in the collegiate environment. Students study a combination of English Language courses and credit-bearing academic courses. So they can earn credits towards their degree from the beginning.

Exercise Science
The Exercise Science program combines classroom, laboratory and internship experiences that will give you a comprehensive understanding of physical health, fitness and human performance. You will learn how to recognize and assess metabolic/physical, cardiovascular and pulmonary functions, and design and implement treatment plans for clients that improve their physical fitness and health.

You’ll also participate in internships designed to promote career readiness or preparation for graduate education in areas such as sports medicine, strength and conditioning, personal training and clinical research. As a UHart student, you’ll have opportunities to work with the University’s Division I athletic teams in these internships.

Music Production and Technology
Music production & technology at Hartt trains musicians to become music production professionals (i.e. recording, mixing, and mastering engineers).  Musicianship training has played an essential role for many, if not most, successful producers. Through study in music, electronics and acoustics, you will develop the skills and knowledge necessary to work in the professional audio industry.

The finance major gives you a foundation in corporate finance, investments, portfolio management, and international finance. And, pursue your interests in more specialized areas such as entrepreneurial finance, money and banking, portfolio management, and real estate finance.

Mathematics
Our Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics program gives you a strong math foundation, and the ability to choose from a number of mathematics electives to customize your curriculum. It’s a good fit if you are planning to pursue a career in business, education or technology and enjoy math!

We are living in the era of the Internet. Almost any device or issue you can think of (computer networks, cyber security, controls for robotics, telephones, and more) involves computer hardware and software. Devices enhance how we work, play, and communicate. The design, development, and maintenance of devices involves critical teams of hardware and software specialists.

A wide variety of skills and expertise are needed in this area, from traditional hardware design and engineering, to computer programming. The most exciting new area involves bridging the gap between hardware and software to focus on the application of computer systems to real-world problems. Through this program, you will gain the necessary skills to design, build, repair, and maintain this type of equipment and tools used in everyday life.

Computer and Electronic Engineering Technology
Explore the technical side of engineering through the CEET program. Expand your skills through and design the program for your goals and interest through various coursework and five technical specialty electives. With this flexibility, you have the choice to advance programming skills or expand knowledge in areas like data acquisition and automated systems. You will also be trained to use industry-standard technology and software, to be well-prepared to start working full time after completing the program.

Ceramics
You’ll work with both ceramic sculpture and pottery in the introductory courses and develop personal direction in your work as you advance through the curriculum. In all courses, regardless of level, you’ll develop your aesthetic and technical skills.

To further your growth, there are field trips, exhibitions, and workshops to attend, all designed to expose you to various modes of thought, working methods, and works of ceramic art by leading professionals in the field.

Biochemistry
Our Biochemistry program lets you study the chemistry of the living world and is great combination if you enjoy physical and chemical sciences.
