Tiffin University began offering a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science program in 2014. This program will help students build a solid foundation of the scientific principles underlying modern exercise physiology. The exercise science program is structured to provide students with a solid foundation for understanding how and why humans move. This interdisciplinary program includes courses from the fields of biology, chemistry and exercise physiology. Through this program, students will understand the essential role of physical activity and exercise in the prevention, treatment and recovery from a variety of disease conditions. Upon the successful completion of the required course work, students can either seek employment in various areas of allied health fields or apply to graduate school in the sciences and health professions.

Tiffin University’s curriculum is designed to expose students to real-world problems and real-world solutions. The Digital Forensics major is designed from an investigative and evidence recovery perspective rather than a computer science perspective. The Students that successfully complete the program are eligible to take professional certification tests in Digital Forensics and Mobile Forensics. This prepares our students to begin work in the criminal justice or digital forensics profession on day one after graduation.

The Human Services Concentration offers an applied psychological and interdisciplinary understanding of personal and social problems often encountered in contemporary society, and it is designed primarily for students who intend to pursue careers in psychological and social service related fields. Through its combination of coursework, internship, and self-directed study, this program prepares students for immediate employment in a wide variety of helping professions, and serves as a foundation for admission to applied graduate study in the mental health and community service related fields.

Business leadership is sharpening an employee’s vision, raising their performance to a higher standard and building them up to feel that they can do anything. Take classes in negotiations and conflict resolution, organizational and group performance and leading organization change so that you can lead by example.

The finance concentration enables the student to build upon the solid foundation from the course work in the MBA program and provides students with greater exposure to economic and financial business practices. The finance courses provide an opportunity for students to learn about local, national and international economies in cooperating and competing markets. Students will explore performance of stocks, bonds, commodities and other types of investments. The program prepares students to work in the field of financial management either independently or with a corporation, bank, securities firm, non-profit organization or an investment firm.
