Digital media and design is a growing applied arts field. TU’s program will prepare graduates to work with interactive web and app development businesses creating educational, entertainment-based and commercial mobile apps, websites, modelers, concept artists and technical directors in design studios, interactive gaming companies and virtual reality labs.

As society has gone digital, so too have the criminals, terrorists and other threats to our society and nation. The Bachelor of Arts in Cyber Defense and Information Assurance and the Bachelor of Criminal Justice in Digital Forensics degrees at Tiffin University, position current and future law enforcement and national security professionals at the forefront of this new era. The Digital Forensics major is designed from an investigative and evidence recovery perspective rather than a computer science perspective. The Students that successfully complete the program are eligible to take professional certification tests in Digital Forensics and Mobile Forensics. • Concentration in Performance & Entrepreneurship - allows students to develop advanced skills in support of a career professional performing or writing career, or for building their own independent music business

The addictions counseling concentration provides hands-on skills and clinical education in problems of substance use, abuse and dependence, as well as other related and co-occurring mental health addictive issues. Our program is designed to meet the educational requirements for Chemical Dependency Counselor licensure status, as well as the international certification standards in addiction counseling.

As a student in the program, you can complete an internship in the field and work on the 220 hours of practical experience in the 12 core areas that is required for licensure. If you achieve this and complete all of the required course work, you will only need one year of experience in the field (2,000 hours) to sit for the licensure exam in order to become licensed at the second highest level for chemical dependency counselors in Ohio. The only higher license in this field requires a master’s degree.

Finance is an integral part of decision-making in any kind of business. The Tiffin University curriculum strikes a balance between applications and theory. Your program of study blends accounting, economics, finance and management and provides you with the ability to:

TU’s MBA forensics and fraud examination concentration prepares students for the field of forensic accounting, fraud and criminal justice to achieve positions within auditing firms, in forensic accounting, fraud examination, litigation support, internal auditing, external auditing and criminal justice financial investigation upon graduation.

Classes will cover fraud, white collar crimes and ethical standards, as identified by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Students will be able identify fraudulent activities that include tax fraud and money laundering and will be able to plan a financial fraud examination, identify appropriate documentation and write the fraud examination report.

TU’s MBA forensics and fraud examination concentration also prepares students for the Certified Fraud Examiner’s Exam (CFE) upon completion of the courses. It also allows accounting students to meet the required 150 college credit hour requirement (as some states require) to pursue the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) Exam. TU’s forensics and fraud examination concentration is one of only a few universities who offer actual preparation for the CFE Exam by exclusively using the ACFE manual for the Certified Fraud Examination, according to the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

The Marketing concentration provides students with the advanced knowledge in marketing products and services. Students will explore the practices and techniques commonly used to increase exposure and market positions. Challenges and benefits in negotiating sponsorships and endorsements allow the students to develop competencies to potentially maximize revenue for organizations and individuals. Students will also be exposed to marketing in an international arena.
